I was almost run over by a Bull moose in pitch black while checking on my Platoon . He came over a fence and bent the barbwire down at the top down about a foot and a half when he went over the fence ,ground shaking ,LOL
When we went to Alaska many yrs ago,we looked and looked for moose...the first moose we saw was on the base.
In WWII they were Ratzis and in the Cold War, they were Commies—Hokey Smokes, Bullwinkle—Pottsylvania IS the Ukraine!

I did not see that coming, a moose walking around in Alaska.
(you see a lot of moose in the wild in Yukon and Alaska, they are a significant road hazard especially at night when you don’t see them like deer and their roving eyes — people have been killed running into moose and in case you don’t know, moose is the plural of moose).
