That Diary of a CEO channel gets some interesting guests at times. He’s not a bad interviewer either.

Perhaps they can force feed it to liberals and see if there’s a net positive effect.🤔

My son used the Keto Diet to lose 50 lbs.
Said it was difficult to stick to long term so he modified it a bit to work for him. So far, he’s been able to keep the weight off.

I’m all over the concept of “treating” mental imbalance conditions with dietary adjustments. ESPECIALLY in children! The degree to which we diagnose kids with mental problems and then pump ‘em with psych drugs is criminal. Watched a little, no time right now for the rest; does she mention kids?

I think he generally does good interviews. He asks questions and lets the person answer them, and he doesn’t get provocative.

    Yes, some about midway through.
After hearing what she says about diet and insulin levels, and seeing the way most kids eat, I have no doubt there’s a strong connection between diet and mental health and behavior.

The one question I didn’t hear addressed was the claim that the keto diet is hard on the kidneys.
I don’t know if that’s true or not.

Definitely. The details is where it gets tricky. I read Chris Palmer’s book that also discusses his medical ketogenic treatments for mental illness and yet he ends up more on the side of a Mediterranean diet. I just fast 20 hours a day and try to get at least 20-30 different plant foods in a week (closer to 20 at the moment :)).

From what I remember, living on a very high protein diet is not easy on the kidneys, can’t remember why.

I’ve been a vegetarian for 55 years. I am not crazy, nor nutitionally deficient. No preperared or junk food, all home cooked, organic mostly.
Vegans give vegetarians a bad name.
