This treatment can’t be good. I lost 48 last year just by light exercise, eating three times and day, cutting out alcohol, sweets, and drinking water throughout the day.
great, now we will see even more walking corpses walking around.
GLP’s make people look AWFUL
Price.
Same here. From 212 to 155. About 2 years.
Are you men?
I don’t know about cutting out drinking water.
I know a man who lost 60+ pounds by cutting out soda, junk food, and fast food, and he went to the gym with a personal trainer once a week.
He says now his tastes have changed and when he was out recently and needed to eat stopped at a McD’s (IIRC) and ordered his previous favorite meal and could hardly choke it down. But he did as he was hungry and he said he spent to much to throw it out. And never again.
I lost 170 pounds in 2 years. Not using drugs, just intermittent fasting and watching what I eat.
Maybe some people should just stop eating so much.
You guys are impressive. My husband can lose weight without trying. Drives me batty.
My weight has yo-yo’d so all the hard work just gets depressing when it gets undone from year to year. My doctor put me on Rybelsus - one pill per day - for diabetes, as I refused insulin, and I was shocked to find myself losing weight. Told her and got laughed at. Lost 40 lbs and have been complimented frequently. Totally joyful. And all of my medical numbers have rapidly moved into great ranges. Healthier than I can remember being in years. Energy, clear mind and restarting projects I let lapse for years. Mentally, I’ve lost 40 years beside the pounds. Back to blue jeans.
Husband, also diabetic, was green with envy and the doctor put him on it also. We’re working hard to make sure he DOESN’T lose weight. But all of his numbers are now moving in the right direction, too. He takes no insulin and I’m thrilled.
I seem to be one of those people who gain five pounds just seeing a McDonalds commercial.
My hubby is the same and it also drives me insane. I have the metabolism of a slug, OTOH, and I’ve struggled with my weight since I was a teenager. I’m 5 feet tall and weigh ~140, which is huge for me. I don’t binge eat, rarely snack, avoid junk food, and only eat 2 meals a day, yet the scale barely budges. Intermittent fasting and keto didn’t work for me, so I’m going back to the old fashioned method of increasing my activity level. I’ll be 72 soon and losing weight has been much harder since I turned 65. 😖
If someone could turn sweet tea into a weight-reduction tonic, I’d be as skinny as a 2x4.
You can buy them off of Amazon BUT I would not recommend trying until you talk to your doctor, but you can buy glucose meters. I’m on week 3 and the insights to food on my glucose level is staggering. I’m leveled off now by following Atkins.
I ate a package of peanut butter crackers you get in a vending machine & my glucose spiked to 225+ I told my wife that it gave me insight into previous behavior where I had a burger & fries and then dessert. If a package of crackers can make it spike, imagine the burger, fries etc. is doing to you!!
“orforglipron”
Great name!!

I’m 81 so I know what you mean. I was in my 40’s when I got so upset about being hit on that I purposely gained weight. STUPID! Never thought how tough it would be to take it off as it was so very easy to put it on. This diabetes medicine is the first time I’ve been able to have any control over weight loss. I’m on it for life and just grateful so much is covered by insurance.
I hear you.
First, switch to green tea.
Second use a non-caloried sweetener...........
