While out weeding in my yard today, the song “Pleasant Valley Sunday” came to mind. Which got me wondering what kind of home Carole King lived in & does she ever think about the lyrics she wrote. When I got back inside I decided to look into her current living quarters:
“Carole King’s primary residence is located in central Idaho, near Sun Valley. The 128-acre property, situated within the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, included a restored lodge, guest cabins, a recording studio, and equestrian facilities. King spent over 30 years transforming the ranch into her home.”
I guess everyone grows up eventually.

My favorite rendition is definitely the Monkees. But it’s no longer available on Youtube. Copyright infraction. Oh well, at least I have it here at home. :-)
It’s my favorite of theirs. Mickey D’s at least used to be “Sometime in the Morning”, probably because it was one he sang. 😊
