The official cause of death for WWE Legend Hulk Hogan has been released.
As the New York Post reported, The Pinellas County Forensic Science Center announced that Hogan died from acute myocardial infarction, which occurs when the blood flow to the heart muscle suddenly becomes blocked.
The New York Post also obtained documents showing that Hogan had a history of an irregular and rapid heart rate.
He also had a history of cancer called leukemia CLL. This cancer affects white blood cells called lymphocytes.
This is the first time it has been revealed that Hogan had battled cancer.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Hogan died back on July 24 at 71 years old.
Medics were dispatched to Hogan’s Clearwater, Florida home with operators stating it was regarding a “cardiac arrest.”
TMZ reported that a slew of police cars and EMTs were seen parked outside Hogan’s home and the icon was carried on a stretcher and into an ambulance.
Hogan was known as one President Trump’s biggest supporters. Who can forget his legendary speech at the RNC Convention where he ripped off his shirt as he sang Trump’s praises?
An emotional Trump paid tribute to the wrestling great following his death.
“We lost a great friend today, the “Hulkster.” Hulk Hogan was MAGA all the way — Strong, tough, smart, but with the biggest heart. He gave an absolutely electric speech at the Republican National Convention, that was one of the highlights of the entire week. He entertained fans from all over the World, and the cultural impact he had was massive. To his wife, Sky, and family, we give our warmest best wishes and love. Hulk Hogan will be greatly missed!” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
Sad.
Hmmm, heart attack....
So it wasn’t Chuck Norris?
Its called a life time of steroid use.
Glad he found Jesus!
I read that he took them for 14 years under a doctor’s supervision but stopped in the 90’s and his body shape became more normal looking afterward.
No matter when he stopped it took a toll. Such is life and bad judgement or ambition.
Safe and effective!! Glad he knew Jesus though.
When my son was about 2, he loved wrestling, and especially Hulk Hogan. He got a large (about 2X scale of barbie dolls) Hulk doll for Christmas, took it to bed with him the first night. He fell asleep saying “my Hulkster...”. Then later, I worked with a gal who was a wrestling and Hulk Hogan fan, she had a painting of him on black velvet. She gave it to my son, who now has it hanging in his workout room in his basement. I think Hulk Hogan bridged many stereotypes, and proved to be a good guy, overall.
No it's not, it's called " acute myocardial infarction", also known as a heart attack.
The average age of death is around 75 and Hogan died at age 71. I would say he met the average.
Approximately 350,000 to 400,000 people die annually from acute myocardial infarction. Hard to believe that they were all on steroids too...
Hogan testified in the 1994 steroid trial of Vince McMahon that he had started using steroids in 1976.
Unless you have evidence to the contrary, it's safe to say he never used them since.
Using your logic, my dad (aged 76) was a steroid abuser as were several of my under 70 softball friends who died this past year.
Your comment is ignorant and devoid of any evidence whatsoever.......
[Its called a life time of steroid use.]
One of the good guys, R.I.P.
He was friends with my boyhood hero - Fred Blassie
Even though he stopped, it’s like driving a car for 20,000 miles without changing the oil. The car might still work…but something is going to go wrong.
"with the biggest heart"

“3) started publicly claiming that wrestling is fake”
Always amazes me when people tell me that entirely genius perceptive comment when I mention them I watch wrestling on occasion.
My only response is to ask them if they watch movies. Wrestling is a lot less fake than movies, which causes people to become twitterpated, as proven by Hogan saying he no longer had any original body parts.
.
I did not say that heart attacks are only caused by steroids. 71 is 7 years younger than the average age. But its about 15 years younger than the average age of death for someone who made it to 65. This takes childhood death and most car accidents out. I was not his doctor. But steroid use like his often shortens life. Heart attacks and cancer are among the largest results from extended steroid use. He may have also had a horrible diet. But looking at his physique, I am guessing that the steroids enlarged his heart. I did not examine him. Its just a guess.
