Donald J. Trump
@realDonaldTrump
I don’t care what India does with Russia. They can take their dead economies down together, for all I care. We have done very little business with India, their Tariffs are too high, among the highest in the World. Likewise, Russia and the USA do almost no business together. Let’s keep it that way, and tell Medvedev, the failed former President of Russia, who thinks he’s still President, to watch his words. He’s entering very dangerous territory!

,,, India’s economy is dead?
Trump seems really mad and riled up.india hasn’t said anything much since yesterday but he seems to be really going after it. Well, I guess that its curtains now for any possible partnership.
The leader of the free world sounds very pissed off.
Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev responded to United States President Donald Trump on Thursday, reminding him “of how dangerous a ‘dead hand’ that does not exist in nature can be” in likely reference to Russia’s Perimeter nuclear weapons control system.
Medvedev made his remarks in response to Trump calling him a “failed former president” and telling him to “watch his words” earlier today. “If certain words spoken by the former president of Russia provoke such a nervous reaction from such a formidable US president, then Russia is completely in the right and will continue on its path,” Medvedev wrote on Telegram.
Hahaha India economy has grown 3 times faster than USA economy has since Modi’s capitalist party took over from bureaucratic Nehru’s Congress party. But Trump is right, India does charge very high tariffs on imported goods. May be the main reason internal economy has grown faster.
Modi has been good for the Indian economy, but has a miserable human-rights record. Seems to have given Christian persecution a wink and a nod.
China is the big winner in Trump’s tantrums here.

Riled up? What has Trump done to stop H1B/OPT/CPT/H4/L1 work visas?
Next time, he should let Pakistan, India, and China sort it all out between themselves.
Trump is always negotiating.
He has experience dealing with mafia-controlled unions in New York City. Do you really think India or Russia is tougher than that?
As an aside, the Five Families ran what was known as the “Concrete Club”—a cartel-like arrangement where only mob-approved contractors could supply concrete for major buildings. Trump had to navigate that world to get projects like Trump Tower built. The tower was constructed using reinforced concrete—a deliberate and unusual choice for a high-rise in Manhattan at the time.
And if Modi is coherent, he knows Russia cannot be trusted when it comes to China, or anything else, for that matter.
Start sending back all these goddamned Indians, then.
“,,, India’s economy is dead?”
Actually, they’ve been doing QUITE WELL since the Neocons cut the price of the Russian oil that they buy.
“Trump seems really mad and riled up.india hasn’t said anything much since yesterday but he seems to be really going after it. Well, I guess that its curtains now for any possible partnership.”
For sure. The 25% tariffs were a message to the Indian government that even if they were considering buckling under the Russian oil threat, more tariffs would be on the way. The message being sent to India is that we’re no longer open for business, other than H1B’s, of course.

It’s encouragement to get India to the table. They will come around.
Very little, if anything. Cutting way back on the tidal wave of Indian workers in tech would greatly benefit the American worker and deeply sadden the C-suites. My current team in IT has 28 people with 20 of them Indian and it seems like any opening that comes up is filled by someone else with a pair of 16-character names. I like them all, but I'm sure I'd like 20 American co-workers just the same.
I think, sadly, that the art of the deal with India on tariffs is going to be keeping up this lucrative source of foreign employment for the Indian economy as part of Modi's agreement. US companies will be heavily agitating for this, that's for sure.
