The publisher of former President Biden’s forthcoming memoir reportedly paid around a $10 million advance for the book.

Hachette Book Group paid the roughly $10 million figure to Biden for the book to be published by its Little, Brown & Co., The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

Creative Artists Agency, which represents Biden, declined ITK’s requests for comment, while the publisher did not immediately respond.

In 2017, a bidding war for the global rights to two books from former President Obama and Michelle Obama reportedly topped $60 million.

Former President Clinton received a $15 million advance for his 2004 autobiography “My Life,” according to multiple reports.

Wasn’t Obama’s $60M? Biden is getting short shrift.

Joe isn’t writing any book. It will be done by someone else, like his presidency.

The “advance” is nothing more than a reward for his attempt to destroy the country.

Excerpt from the chapter titled “Scranton Joe’s Wild Ride” about his role in the Revolution:

“That’s when I saw Bud Lights in the old ...... church thing, and drove ... no joke ... in my Corvette..... to ...... somewhere. Shouting, ‘Man! The Dog-faced Pony Pops are ......well, you know...’ Saved the day...national hero.... take it to the bank.”

That was my first thought ... who passed the cash to Hachette Book Group to take on the publication? This is just another money laundering operation.

How the left inflates (launders) book sales:

- A left leaning book publisher advances the ‘author’ several million USD.

- The ‘author’ (AKA ghostwriter) write a few hundred pages of inane tripe and submits it.

- The publisher produces a run of the book.

- Leftist organizations buy, pre-order, etc thousands of copies and pays for it all. This insures that the publisher is reimbursed for their part in the scheme.

- Most of the above purchases are delivered to an almost condemned warehouse probably owned by one of the aforementioned leftist organizations.

- Several months after the book release, an unexplained warehouse fire occurs and the building and it’s contents are completely destroyed. The insurance company covers the loss. This reimburses the leftist organization who made the original bulk book purchase.

- Soon after the fire, the insurance company increases it’s premiums. This spreads the covered loss among the new and existing customers of the insurance company, essentially covering the original advance to the ‘author’. This reimburses the insurance company for their part of the scheme.

- So the eventual losers are the customers of the insurance company who are unwittingly paying for author’s book ... whether they want to or not.

Agree. The usual suspects (unions, leftist interest groups, etc.) will buy copies in bulk and give them away, and every public library in the country will buy three copies. That’s how this scam works.

Just another massive Democrat money-launder. The book itself will soon be in the dollar stores.

It’ll be a best seller on the NYT list for a couple of weeks then after actual sales slow to almost zero it’ll be bargain binned.

It will go into the bargain bin, IMO.

Not before your local libraries pay full price for 20 copies that no one will ever read.

Will the publisher really sell 300000 copies of Amy Schumer’s book.

All us taxpayers buy them at full price through our local libraries.

It's how the Deep State paid off Jumanji Brown Jackson...
