Ozzy Osbourne, the lead singer of Black Sabbath, died Tuesday. He was 76.
"It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning," the family said in a statement to BBC. "He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time."

Thanks
No problem with money. This a great way to raise tourism.
I hear the money they are going to make will help build the basement at the Alamo. :)
I guess.
I’ve been to the Alamo several times. This purchase reduces my desire to go again. I can see myself explaining the historical significance of this bike and the Texas Revolution to my granddaughters!
“Mamma I’m coming home.”
RIP to a legend.
Ozzy said he actually gave up after Sabbath kicked him out, but Sharon Arden pushed him, assembled a band (including Randy Rhodes) and signed him to Jet Records. Instead of retiring and going on the dole, he saw super stardom far beyond his time with Black Sabbath.
RIP
76 is the new 96.
😂
The dude was the God Father of Metal! RIP Ozzy!
Ozzy finally gets to see Randy Rhoads again.
He was diagnosed in 2003. That’s a long time with Parkinson’s
I meant that he did the big concert just two weeks ago, I didn’t think he would be gone so soon after that. Must have been something else, maybe pneumonia or somesuch.
It’s in the visitor’s center, not the Alamo.
Along with all sorts of other Hollywood, music, and societal memorabilia, from John Wayne to Disney Davey Crocket stuff to Steve McQueen and Pee Wee Herman.
Back in the 70’s and 80’s Ozzy’s name was carved into practically every public school desk in America.
RIP Iron Man
My response is based off of truth and news reports. I was also a bit tongue in cheek. I had an office right next door to the Alamo in the early 90s and it would take me less than 200 steps to get to the wall of the Alamo.
The whole Prince of Darkness thing was an act.
They came up with the name for the band when sitting across from a Cinema that was showing a movie with “Black Sabbath” in the title. They thought it was funny, and then it caught on. They made a whole act out of it.
Ozzy, once you got used to his accent, was a very funny guy.
He did a few too many drugs for me, but he cleaned up his act.
It truly is though...
Remarkable that he made it to 76.
See post 18. Not sure if we’re on the same thread though because the titles are exactly the same. He’s identified as a Christian since ‘92.
He should have been banned forever for whizzing on the Alamo’s memorial to those who died.
What a waste to go through life drugged up like that.
Many years ago, I tried tracking down a gun from a scout who captured Santa Anna and was at the Seize of Bexar but those who supposedly had it claimed they knew nothing about it. Just hope they know what they had and didn’t toss it.
