You do have a general point. The left has to manufacture something. This Epstein thing almost did it, as many conservatives fell for it. And that just blew my mind, several years of manufactured garbage against Trump, and all of a sudden the morons on the right fall for Epstein.

I think the jury in the E. Jean Carroll case was, like the jury in the George Floyd “murder” case, intimidated. The fact that they could find defamation gave them an out. There were probably some jurors who opposed any penalty, and some who wanted to hang Trump, but the defamation was the compromise verdict. If he did not rape her, none of the other accusations make sense. Some of the jurors compromised, and most likely out of fear of reprisal.
When in my 20s I wanted to have sex with a specific TV child star. Obviously I didn’t as I only saw her character on TV.
But in the eyes of God I was as guilty as if I had done the act.
I see a parallel with anyone involved with Epstein in the 1990s. It is in the past. We are all sinners. Sinners should repent and ask God for forgiveness. But life goes on.
