For those intrepid watchers of American politics, it comes as no surprise that the game of politics has become dirtier and meaner over time.
The "take no prisoners" and "never let a good crisis go to waste" strategies are now the two most commonplace ones being employed by average, politically-engaged Americans.
We need only look at the often aggressive interaction of family members on holidays or watch angry participants in town halls for proof.
Americans take a position, choose a side and then defend their positions, sometimes to the death. There is no room for facts-based discussions, honest contemplation or civility. It's gone, replaced by political zombie-like kamikazis ready to fall on their swords instead of sheathing them.
To those who've just awakened from the deep slumber reserved for the unaware or unconcerned, this is not only confusing but frightening, especially when we look back to bygone days when politics was not mortal combat.
To those outside our borders like the oh-so-proper Europeans (where I am), Americans' political battlefield tactics have finally proven what they have long believed about us, literally for generations, that we are boorish, reactionary, and primitive beings born with unredeemable DNA, living within a flawed system, populated by greedy powerful men.
They ignore, of course, the recent viciousness of their own politics, jailing and disqualifying dissidents and opponents, as seen in France, the U.K. the Netherlands, and Germany, not to mention, Russia.
They and many progressives and liberals in the U.S. imagine they are above such things, but decry Americans' ambitions to pursue personal wealth and success and characterize it as ignorance of our collective obligations to society at large.

Europe is busy committing societal suicide.
Europe is like a homeless bum complaining about the smell of the construction workers who are going about their business next his refrigerator box.
I worked like a son-of-a-b*tch for 38 years.
I saved a huge fraction of my take home pay early on until the first wife got hooked on opiates.
I invested in the stock market through indexed mutual funds.
I’m retired, and loving it. I get up each day and do exactly what I want. My desires are moderate, so I can essentially fulfill them all at a 4% withdrawal rate forever.
I have a sufficient gun collection and ammo stock. I say whatever I want. I vote for conservatives only. I consume as much energy as I’d like to make my life comfortable. I oppose islam and mass illegal immigration.

It’s called a democratic republic, or more accurately defined as a constitutional federal republic, you socialist euroweenies. And God help us if the democrats ever turn us into a socialist state like you in Europe.

The EUreopean kings and queens offered the masses Socialism under the guise of social democracy. This was a blend of state owned means of production with partial private ownership, giving the state veto power and power of the purse. The US Marshall Plan became a Martial Law Plan allowing the elites to own the Surfs after WWII. Until the Marshall Plan drew down, the EUropeans did not have VATs.

Of course they say it is a value added tax, but it was to replace lost American monies to rebuild after WWII.
Today, the EU has reached a point where the Kings and Queens/Elites have fleeced their own Surfs out of the value of their hard work, overrunning them with third-worlders to force votes for stealing from the Surfs.
The fact that Europeans don’t even learn they were the Slave owners, but are taught American was bad because of Slaery... these people have been propogandized into being the good Godless people after two World Wars.
The EUropean Union is rushing full steam into WWIII. Trump is selling them the Arms. Just as with WWI and WWII, American trade is enabling waring states to product the necessary means to wage wars. Without American gun powder Germany had no Ammunition in WWI. Without a Lend-Lease in WWII our Allies could not have fought wars. Today the Europeans are talking (as Americans) about their upcoming war with Russia in 3-5 years on their own schedule - they should reconsider based on their Ukraine experience, e.g., that Ukraine was only days if not less than two weeks from launching a 500k suprise attack on the Donbas and other breakaway Oblasts; Russia beat them to the punch using 190k men. Of course we kept the pressure on Russia to never let them have peace after their small SMO, and they survived a 1.2m AFU backed and General’ed by NATO to defeat the combined efforts of a Woke Globalist Ruling Class more focused on LGBT and Illegal Immigration than goverance of their own people.
The EU today will be gone in less than 7 years, and it break up. The EU Never Ending Wars and those of England are no longer American’s problems and Trump needs to cut their arms at some point or watch EUrope burn for a third time.
And now her boyfriend is telling her to shut up because she is a yappy, trouble starting bitch.
Europeans feel better about themselves by disparaging America rather than acknowledging their dependence in two world wars, a Marshall plan to rebuild afterwards, a Cold War, and a giant open market in which to export their poverty, and a beat policeman to keep the world safe for them.

Set the way back machine to when our allies in Europe were begging us for help
...as America soars again into ascendance and ever increasing greatness and Europe sinks deeper and deeper into the quagmire of suicidal decadence.
The political differences between Europe and the USA are easy to explain
EU society is far more conformist, and while they don’t admit it - classist and immobile.
Secondly, their politics are far more statist and centralized, their business far more controlled, connected and crony-capitalist. They have far more opportunity to suppress dissent.
It gives the appearance of surface calm, while actually the screws are being tightened on dissonant opinion below and the population will accept it to a greater extent
It will eventually break through to the surface.
The European elite’s air of superiority will soon be replaced by the smell of blood and gunpowder as the EU civil war begins.
Meanwhile, the Euroweenies are letting their countries be overrun with 3rd world savages who rape their women and kill their citizens.
Unfortunately, I think western Europe is done. They’ve flooded their countries with Muslim and African fighting age males and let in millions more every year. Meanwhile whose countries suppress their native White populations. They’ve adopted Gaia worship and thus driven their energy costs so high that even those like Germany who managed to retain an industrial sector are rapidly losing it.
Now the Trump administration is finally telling them they will have to pay for their own defense and is making them do it while at the same time eliminating the one sided mercantilist trade arrangement they had with the US. In short, the massive annual subsidies the US was effectively giving Europe every year since WWII are coming to an end.
I don’t see how they can ever recover.
