Like all forbidden questions, it must be asked. For if Islam is irreconcilably anti-American, we had better be prepared to act before, not after, its ascendancy in American politics places it in a position of unconstitutional political power.
Our nation was founded on the principle of liberty. Prominent among our freedoms is that of religion. The Founders were religiously diverse, but not so diverse as to include, among themselves, religions outside the Jewish and Christian traditions.
Hindu-Buddhist writings had no influence on the authors of the Federalist Papers. More than that, today’s exotic interpretations of religious freedom were not written into the founding documents. Yoga, Wicca, and even native American (Indians) traditions contributed nothing substantial. Most importantly, anti-Christian philosophies such as vehement atheism were anathema. No doubt, the very suggestion of Satanism would have been abhorred had it been raised.
It is one thing to permit false religions, but it is a very different thing to allow them to infect the culture and our political structures. Even though Satanism is permitted, no practice of human sacrifice, no matter how sincerely held as a religious belief, is permitted. Even polygamy as a religious doctrine is forbidden, and the territory of Utah was not admitted as a state until its Mormon inhabitants relinquished it.
There is no precedent for permitting any and all claimants to be licensed under the First Amendment. What about Islam?
Few Americans understand the central doctrines of the Muslim religion. Those doctrines include certain teachings that would be illegal to practice in the United States. Polygamy is one, and the tenets of sharia law introduce many more.
Beyond the official doctrines of Islam, however, there are cultural practices that are unambiguously un-American. An underreported practice involves arranged marriages, which, if a small child refuses to obey,

Yes. Any other question?
Yes. Without question.
I agree 100%. Some of the stuff I read on American Thinker seems to have been written by idiots.
War with Islam.
Not even close to if, but hopefully a sooner when. That ‘religion’ already has plenty of ruined countries within which believers can contribute to a 7th century society. Let folks who wish to follow it go there.
And stay.
Is Islam a religion or a political cult? It seems to me that saying it’s okay to “kill the infidel” is at odds with the American ideal of freedom of religion and, therefore, loses the protection afforded therein. Given that, they should live in a country that espouses Sharia law, not the US.

Answer is simple. Just ask the Muslims themselves. They will answer immediately: YES!
Izlam is anti anything that is not izlam. Its goal is to make everthing izlam and kill anyone who won’t go along.
Islam is irrevocably anti-everything, except itself. No ‘ifs’ ‘ands’ ‘buts’ about it.
The Plan:
1) Migrate,
2) Infiltrate,
3) Procreate,
4) Indoctrinate,
5) Subjugate,
6) Dominate,
7) Eliminate
Yes! Duh!
“Allowing ourselves to be conquered by such a monstrous religion is insane.”
That’s it in a nutshell. It is true for all of Western Civilization.
Islam is incompatible with our Constitution, with Western values and, arguably, with civilization itself. Other than that, the cult is OK I suppose.
The quality of "conservative thought" is down considerably since the Reagan years. It's hard to find clearly articulated expositions of conservative principles even in paid publications. Written arguments are continually recalibrated for the short attention spans of social media users - leading to shallow pieces that are less convincing to the casual reader than the emotional screeds of the collectivists.
I forget where I read this idea long ago, maybe it was Buckley or some other vintage political commentator, but the thought was that Islamic/the Arab world only has importance or power because the West, tolerates it...for the moment. When the West decides it is unwilling to tolerate the behavior of Islam, it will end. Given what we are beginning to see from the people in most Western nations, that moment seems to be fast approaching.
Yes.
I’d argue the most appropriate question is more:
How LONG HAVE YOU REALIZED Islam is anti-American?
Islam = Sharia Law. They are ONE. There is no separating them and the goal is Sharia for ALL. Just listen to them they’ll tell you.
In the case of Islam it is an Imperialist Arabic Military operation and Criminal Enterprise that disguises itself as a "Religion of Peace. Muhammad may have existed, but the Koran and Hadiths were written much later. They provided a Theistic reward and threat of Damnation that was used to organize and justify that extended Military operation.
Correction: YES!!!
Absolutely YES!!!
Well, for one thing, IT IS NOT A RELIGION! It is an all encompassing THEOCRACY that is at odds with our Constitutional Republic. These are not Catholics who go to mass only on Christmas eve. Muslims actually submit to Islam, and their goal is for world submission. By the time westerners figure this out - and stop dismissing it as a "cult" - it will be too late.
