Veteran political journalist Mark Halperin revealed on Thursday that “everyone” believes a blockbuster exposé about the relationship between President Donald Trump and the late sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein is about to drop.
“One of the points of this platform, in the age of transparency, is to narrow the gap between elites like Dan [Turrentine], and Sean [Spicer], and the people like the 2WAY community and myself. So let me share something with you that “everyone,” I say that in air quotes, everyone I know knows hasn’t been publicly reported. Everyone I know believes a major newspaper, one of the top three newspapers in the country, is about to publish a piece about President Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Okay? Everyone I know knows that. And people in the White House know that, too. When that story drops, if it drops today, and some people think it might, it could drive the day,” began Halperin before asking Turrentine and Spicer if they had heard about the story.

They didn't release it because they didn't have anything. The holdovers in the DOJ/FBI have been "reconstructing" the files (with edits and additions) starting right after the '24 election. It took them some time to "find the files".
Christophe Steele was likely contracted again to round up the prosecutor's files.
Except now they can't even create fake dirt tying Trump to Epstein's underage sex parties. It would put them in the very uncomfortable position of explaining to the American voters that they had this info all along but chose to sit on it through three consecutive presidential elections, two of which put Trump in the White House.
And we already knew that Donald Trump enjoyed the company of beautiful young (adult) models and was probably a less than faithful husband during his 80s-90s days on the NYC social scene, but this was already baked in to the whole package we elected.

He has paid a price for sexual harassment in the workplace.
Nowhere near the price many of the pervs on Faux News have paid like Ailes through his estate nor Ted O’Baxter which was Rush’s name for Bill O’Reilly.
I believe he settled with one of his producers for nine million in a phone sex allegation in which she had the receipts in that she had likely taped the conversations.
O’Reilly settled with someone for 38 million.
That someone is rumored to be Liz Wiehl.
So unlike the great bloviator, Halperin has been scuffling on the internet to stay in the business as he didn’t have the accumulated wealth of O’Baxter or the ability to sell books.
To attack Halperin on this story aggregated by Mediate is unfair as Halperin is simply reporting from his sources at NBC.
I like his reporting as well as anyone who is reporting today.
He did a story yesterday on his night podcast about Trump.
He saw citizen Trump make a speech in the mid 2000’s at CPAC in which Elite Stream Media panned him as being a buffoon.
Halperin took him seriously and did a positive column about Trump and Trump didn’t forget that and he gave him access over the years.
Halperin then ran a clip of Trump at CPAC in 2016 where Halperin just called him over to his camera set-up without an appointment and Trump graciously gave him an interview and answered all his questions.
In Trump’s CPAC speech earlier Trump had mentioned Hillary had a Bill Clinton problem connected to Epstein.
Halperin asked him about it in the interview and Trump again repeated that Bill Clinton could be in big trouble over Epstein.
Halperin had Megyn Kelly on this afternoon who he actually works for under MK media.
It was a fair interview.
Kelly is focused on the Blondi angle.
She heard her sources tell her that behind the scenes there are those who are encouraging Blondi to do a press conference or at least take questions, but others in the administration don’t believe she has the abilities to pull that off.
Kelly said that she doesn’t believe the Epstein matter will hurt Trump in the long run as he simply racking up too many accomplishments.
I would agree with that.
But Trump still has a problem with the credibility of the DOJ and FBI and Kelly thinks the best and only thing he can do to help with that is get rid of Blondi.

Don't kid yourself... in today's world ALL you would NEED is a few minutes of Epstein's voice talking about ANYTHING... put that VOICE SAMPLE into a competent "AI" program and you can have the VERY DEAD Epstein "coming alive" and saying ANYTHING that you CHOOSE.

I’m as big a MAGA Trump supporter as there can be, but I also know when things don’t look right, and Trump’s behavior has made him look guilty. I hope he’s telling the truth, and that he just misspoke and meant that any “hoax” didn’t extend to the entire thing, which would be hard to believe, and that any alleged traces of Trump being involved are deep state fakes. But what bothers me the most is his seeming drive to just breeze by the shock and concern of a huge number of his supporters, and worst of all to demean and trash them.
I can’t believe I’m typing this, but there’s no other way to say it other than that his recent behavior makes him at least appear very guilty. He’s just not acting like an innocent person.
I love Trump, but at the end of the day I have to stand for the truth above all else, wherever it leads. Let’s hope this isn’t as it appears, and that Trump IS telling the truth about what he is calling a “hoax.”
What I have found that with leftists and their view of teenagers depends on the context. When teenagers commit crimes, in the leftist minds they are children. When they want to have sex with them, they are not.

I don’t think Trump did anything bad, but it looks awkward. Some people are desperate to make something out of it. Trump is the most investigated man ever to become President. If he did anything wrong it would have already come out long ago.
