Federal authorities have confirmed that more than 300 illegal aliens were arrested Thursday during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid at a Ventura County, California cannabis farm.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed on X that 319 unlawful immigrants were apprehended during the raid at Glass House Farms, and said that "law enforcement rescued 14 children from potential forced labor, exploitation, and trafficking."
The raid is believed to be the second-largest single-state ICE worksite operation in history, behind the first Trump administration's 2019 Mississippi chicken plant raids that netted almost 700 illegal alien arrests.
One man taken into custody has a history of violent crime, including attempted child exploitation.
CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott posted a photo of the unnamed migrant on X.
"This illegal alien was apprehended at the CA marijuana facility," he said.
"Turns out he had been sentenced to 7 yrs for kidnapping & attempted rape, w/ a prior conviction for attempted child molestation.
And this felon was working at the same farm as 10 kids - one being 14 yrs old."
Fox News has learned that the children rescued at the farm are from Mexico and Honduras, and that immigration authorities are analyzing the criminal histories of all 319 of the detained illegal aliens.

Sending out protestors to throw rocks at ICE vehicles involved in saving children from exploitation is a heinous crime. The Rats must be exposed.
A lot of blue states have legalized recreational use of marijuana. Cannabis dispensaries have popped up all over the place. Now we’re finding hundreds of illegals working at the farms that produce this stuff. Did the cartels provide the labor? I just get a weird feeling about this that there are more layers to this story.
Bondi and Patel will claim there’s a lack of evidence. They love child predators.

it was not potential forced labor when I was a kid, it was forced labor.
We have friends who live in Camarillo not far from where this occurred. The husband is CA Highway Patrol and has been dealing with this ICE mess. They have three children, and we pray for his safety all the time. (The wife is the daughter of our minister when we lived in CA.)
The child predator should have worked on Epstein Island, a safe place!
Perhaps this is an opportunity to take those minors, best the ones under 16 and place them with religious organizations that have NOT been in the wetback business to raise them in apprenticeships and English with the goal of making them green card legal for a set time after which, if they have become industrious worker/students they can be allowed on to the path to citizenship. If they mess up they can be deported or, if they mess up badly they can be jailed then deported.

Foreign cartels and homegrown gangs have been using the forests and parks to hide and run their grow operations since the at least the 1980s. A buddy of mine came across one while out hunting in the very early 1990s. This was back when authorities would actually do something about it. He reported it. The state and feds (National Forest land) went in and cleaned it out. This was in southern Idaho.
