The prospect of a (name)change comes at a time when the Commanders could be going to Trump to get a deal done that would get a new facility to be built. Which means that, if they seek his help, they may have to do something in return.
That something could include naming the stadium after the 45th/47th president. It could mean re-naming the team. It could be both

I’m a feather Indian. I liked the redskins name. Other natives I know- no one ever complained it was racist. They had the jerseys, bumper st, caps and logos.
Nowadays no one here has Commanders logos or jerseys, etc.
Bring back the Washington Redskins name.

The woke tried that a couple of times with the Florida State Seminoles, not doing their homework of course they weren’t aware of the very close relationship the university has with the Seminole nation.
When they sent a threatening letter to FSU about the mascot the Seminole tribe made it abundantly clear to the woke idiots that they had an army of attorneys backed by their casino money and would sue the piss outta them if they didn’t stand down.....that was the last time that ever happened.
