US strikes Iran live updates: Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s top adviser declares ‘it is now our turn’

President Trump has launched the United States into the spiraling Israel-Iran war, ordering strikes on the latter Middle Eastern country in the middle of the night Saturday in an attempt to crush its nuclear program.

“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump announced on Truth Social just before 8 p.m. ET, 3:30 a.m. Iran time.

The president’s move to get the US involved in Israel’s military operations — now in their second week after large-scale airstrikes on June 13 took out 20 of Iran’s senior military leaders — comes just days after Iran warned that a US strike would trigger an “all-out war.”

A top adviser to Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Iran “must launch missile strikes” against US Navy ships in response to President Trump’s decision to bomb nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic Saturday.

“Following America’s attack on the Fordow nuclear installation, it is now our turn,” warned Hossein Shariatmadari, the editor-in-chief of the Kayhan newspaper, according to CNN.

“Without hesitation or delay, as a first step we must launch missile strikes on the American naval fleet based in Bahrain and simultaneously close the Strait of Hormuz to American, British, German, and French shipping,” read a quote attributed to Shariatmadari, posted on Kayhan’s Telegram channel.

Shariatmadari is well-known in Iran and has previously identified himself as Khamenei’s “representative,” according to CNN. Kayhan is widely considered the publication closest to the theocratic regime.

my question this morning is has the US or Israel blown up all the trucks that were lining up at Fordow to take away and hide the materials from within?

You mean... did Iran have a ‘heads up’ with plenty of time (3 months) to truck out all their “materials” for safe-keeping and/or later use? Nah. That’s old hat, globalist GWB stuff. Trump don’t play like that.

There is a good chance that Khamenei has been dead for some time. He was at least middle aged 45 years ago when the Shah was over thrown.

If Khamenei has a ballistic missile with a nuke on top and ready to go then he can get his revenge a few minutes before he becomes dissociated atoms. Chances are that our military is on top of that situation and there are assets in place able to knock out a big rocket on liftoff. Iran, big as it is, is not big enough to keep launches secret.

"So; why not let Israel fight it’s own war? Why does “Uncle” have to step in?"

It's not so much about Israel fighting its own war as it is Iran having nuclear weapons. That's something that would be intolerable for the western world.

we have seen the aerial/satellite pictures of trucks lined up at Fordow as late as two days ago. Did we just let those trucks drive away safely?

Do these articles have so many authors to make it difficult to figure out which moronic part of the article to attribute to which moron?

Why does “Uncle” have to step in?

Because the United States has the only military equipment able to reach the 300 feet deep nuclear enrichment area. This area is protected by hardened bunkers and only the 30,000 lb GBU-5t/A MOP is able to penetrate it. The B2 stealth bomber is the only aircraft able to carry two of those MOPs. To slice through the covering, the B2 drops the first MOP, which creates a tunnel about 200 feet deep. The second MOP targets that tunnel and slips through it to the end. At maximum depth, it explodes, sending a shock wave and destruction another 200 feet.

To you expect America to send Israel a B2 and the MOPs and have them do it? There are also the F22 Raptors serving as escort fighters that also have to be a part of the operation. F-22 Raptor is a fifth-generation, twin-engine, stealth tactical fighter aircraft designed for air superiority and multi-role combat. It combines stealth, supercruise, maneuverability, and integrated avionics to achieve air dominance. The F-22 is not only capable of air-to-air combat but also performs air-to-ground missions. Does Israel have pilots trained to fly those?

Really. I mean like what has Iran ever done to the US to warrant military action against it?

“Why does”Uncle” have to step in?”
Because “UNCLE SAM” doesn’t cry “Uncle” when an avowed and dangerous enemy threatens to destroy not only a true ALLY but also their own nation through the use of DEADLY “weapon of mass destruction”!

Yup... It is their ‘turn’ now... Their turn to be terrorized on a daily basis.... Wondering where and when the next attack will happen. That’s something Israel has lived with since 1947.
