President Trump has launched the United States into the spiraling Israel-Iran war, ordering strikes on the latter Middle Eastern country in the middle of the night Saturday in an attempt to crush its nuclear program.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan,” Trump announced on Truth Social just before 8 p.m. ET, 3:30 a.m. Iran time.
The president’s move to get the US involved in Israel’s military operations — now in their second week after large-scale airstrikes on June 13 took out 20 of Iran’s senior military leaders — comes just days after Iran warned that a US strike would trigger an “all-out war.”
A top adviser to Iran Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Iran “must launch missile strikes” against US Navy ships in response to President Trump’s decision to bomb nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic Saturday.
“Following America’s attack on the Fordow nuclear installation, it is now our turn,” warned Hossein Shariatmadari, the editor-in-chief of the Kayhan newspaper, according to CNN.
“Without hesitation or delay, as a first step we must launch missile strikes on the American naval fleet based in Bahrain and simultaneously close the Strait of Hormuz to American, British, German, and French shipping,” read a quote attributed to Shariatmadari, posted on Kayhan’s Telegram channel.
Shariatmadari is well-known in Iran and has previously identified himself as Khamenei’s “representative,” according to CNN. Kayhan is widely considered the publication closest to the theocratic regime.

my question this morning is has the US or Israel blown up all the trucks that were lining up at Fordow to take away and hide the materials from within?
BTTT
Do they have any launch sites left? If so, I suspect they won’t be there for very much longer if they do launch any missiles towards our fleet.
Careful what you wish for. That could be taken two ways.
Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight's was the most difficult of them all by far, and perhaps the most lethal. But if peace does not come quickly, we will go after those other targets with precision, speed and skill. Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes.I took this to mean human targets...those that would fight, rather than pursue negotiations for peace.

In other words a grandstanding nobody.
They want to play billy badass. Ayatollah thinks Israeli sorties are something, wait until he gets a load of the full might of American righteousness. Ayatollah, meet Helen Thomas times 72.
You just can’t fix stupid. If any of their missiles hit a U.S. Navy ship I would be surprised. I doubt anything they have left would get close before getting destroyed. The return fire will have the remaining leaders crapping in their pants.
So; why not let Israel fight it’s own war? Why does “Uncle” have to step in?
What are bunker busters: Everything to know about the $500M bombs
Its huge weight means it can only be delivered with a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber — a jet that Israel’s air force does not possess.
Israel cannot easily take out Fordow, and, Fordow IS the most critical site.
It appears that they have been attacking Israel using mobile launchers. The Scud and the Iranian missiles do not seem to be much advanced over the V-2. The V-2 had a ballistic error of about 10 miles. The Scud about a mile. These seem be closer to a few hundred yards. They almost certainly use inertial guidance which is immune from jamming, but expensive and not very accurate.
Antiship missiles tend to rely on radar homing and infrared. Ships stand out a mile in the sea unlike targets embedded in natural and urban land clutter. But warship bristle with missile defense systems which is why the Houthis could never hit them. It might be possible for the Iranians to saturate the defenses, and I am certain they are getting targeting information form Soviet and Chinese satellites.
The attacks on Fordow were carried out by B-2s, the other plants struck by the United States were attacked using submarine launched cruise missiles, which use GPS, terrain mapping and inertial guidance. They are not dependent on any one technology.

If someone the block was yelling to everyone else, death to 55 Ford, would you listen and watch? Then he began blowing up a parallel street and killing friends and family in the mix, while saying his God told him to do it. If your cousin Vinnie asked for help, would you run the maniacal Jihadi over with your big steel car or wait until it is your turn to be sacrificed?
They use mobile launchers. When I was in the Army in Germany, I was in a Pershing battalion. The Pershing, at the time, was an inertial missile, which means it was guided by measuring acceleration and pointing. It was sort of like firing artillery. In order to hit anything you had to know where you launched from, where your target was, what direction you were looking, and what your latitude was. Latitude determined the effect of earth’s rotation.
In order to know where you are, Germany was littered with thousands of field artillery survey markers. There was also a TOP SECRET catalogue of survey points, explaining how to find them, their coordinates, and landmarks indicating compass directions such as church steeples, with line and ink drawings of the landmarks. The existence of the catalog was not a secret, it’s contents were.
I suppose the Iranian missileers use familiar surveyed sites rather than GPS or other ways of determining location. Even if they use GPS, they would still need to determine direction, something that compass readings or GPS could not easily or accurately supply.
Top adviser going boom on. 5,…4,…3…
