The number of points on those flags are significantly useless. Minnesota’s flags makes me want to get out my Bristol screwdrivers.
This was one of the proposals to replace the old (yucky) flag.
IIRC it is the North Star and the stripes were the sky, snow, and forests.
That design didn’t win.
It eliminates the old state seal that had been its focal point, featuring the controversial image of a white man plowing a field and a Native American man riding away, Rep. Mike Freiberg (DFL) says.
“It was designed very deliberately to depict white farmers and settlers kind of displacing the Indigenous people,” Freiberg says, adding that the old flag looked too much like that of other states.
“I just didn’t think it was an appropriate design to keep on either the flag or the seal.”
The Bonnie Blue Flag, which features a single white star on a blue background, was used in Florida during the early years of the American Civil War.
This flag was briefly used as an unofficial flag of the Confederacy and was also the naval flag of the short-lived Republic of West Florida. (1810).
Flag of Somalia:
New flag of Minnesota:
Flag of Texas:
Also, for the record: 8-pointed stars, as opposed to 5-pointed, commonly reference the North Star (official state motto= “Star of the North”). And the left half of the flag is supposed to mimic the State’s overall shape. And the light blue right half symbolizes their many lakes & rivers (unofficial state motto= “Land of 10,000 Lakes”).
So does Texas.
I could be wrong but I'm guessing Texas' flag was adopted way before Somalia even existed.
Mohammed Noor murdered Justine Damond in Minnesota. Minnesota, a once-great state, is already flying the flag of sharia.
Whoever concocted this “False Flag Fake” clickbait decided to ignore the two actual flags in question. Instead of the actual Somali flag, they cherry-picked one of 18 or so flags of various Somali regions. And instead of the new official MN flag, they cherry-picked one of the finalist designs in the competition for the new flag. That double-cherry-picking produces 2 flags that do have several striking resemblances. Yet another case of someone making $$ for themselves via a clever viral clickbait post.
“””Congratulations, Minnesota! “””
Not Minnesota. MINNEPOLISTAN. Walz doesn’t acknowledge anyone outside the metro area. He says it is nothing but rocks and cows. He only works for the skinnies, illegals and gimmedats.
I watched a video from a vexillologist. He was deriding the trend for states to redesign their flags which now follow similar templates.
Everything is offenses, except stripes.
uh huh
They tried this crap in Illinois too, the old flag won. I guess changing butter cartons and boxes of pancake mix wasn’t going far enough for the left.
I'll say.

In the Islamic architecture, functional geometric designs have more than technical means, in other words, the spirit of Islamic art has always been reasonable to the world and the world, because of the alternative to the materialist art, and in any case, the Muslim artist was able to draw a picture of the geometry of science. The application of this geometry, which is generally in different forms of geometry in the interior and exterior of buildings, these varied forms in the traditional domain of the Islamic religion can be able accompanied by national religious approaches. The symbol of the eight-pointed star due to its geometry and its specific form in Iran, especially in the sanctuary Razavi, has been considered as a spiritual center on the religious position of Imam Reza.
The purpose of this article is to investigate the link between the symbolic concept of the 8th star in the sanctuary Razavi with the spiritual position of Imam Reza. Geometric shapes are an important part of the identity Iranian-Islamic art, this study examines the relationship between the star's eight and the imam of the eighth by examining the existential nature of the geometric role of the star. To examine the relationship between the symbolic concept of the eighth star in Razavi's area and the spiritual position of Imam Reza. The research approach of this artical is based on a descriptive-analytical method based on library and field studies. According to the analyzes, the combination of spirituality and science in the context of the symbolic dimensions of geometric shapes (in particular the geometric role of the 8th star) and the theme of this form in terms of the science of numbers and graphs represent the artist's perception of their semantic function, and the relation of the symbol to the position The spirituality of Imam Eight was fully observed in the architecture of Razavi's shrine in Mashhad. Overcoming the symbol of the other symbols and diversity that artists have drawn in and painted has a symbolic link. Reviewing the historical background of the shape of the eight star and its application in the Razavi sanctuary indicates that the artists, using the science of numbers and the knowledge of the symbolic meaning of the number eight and the geometric shape of the eitgh angke star, have deep links with Imam Reza.

...the Najmat -al-Quds or the eight-pointed star of Jerusalem bear silent testament to the enormous contribution Arabic art has made in propagating the faith of Islam relying solely on decorative motifs, beautiful calligraphy and geometric symbols that merged aesthetics and spirituality to endow majestic buildings with beauty and grace without deviating from the Quran’s restriction on portraying human imagery.
It helps when you have commie faggot as governor. And a weak administration who will never do a damned thing to him. Make no mistake… THEY are winning, not us.
Rep. Bjorn Olson (R), a nonvoting member, praises the work of the Historical Society but thinks the flag should have been put to a vote of the Legislature or Minnesota residents.
“That’s the biggest problem,” Olson says. “It’s hard to swallow something that someone is shoving down your throat.”
The new flag has been flying for more than a year now with nary a choking sound heard.
Or the democrats pressed a pillow against it.
So does Chile. But we were first. Maybe.
It isn’t the American flag, for sure...
