Walmart Faces MAGA Boycott After Heiress Funds 'No Kings' Ad
Newsweek ^ | 6/10/25 | Suzanne Blake and Gabe Whisnant

Walmart heiress Christy Walton is facing backlash, and Walmart is facing some calls for a boycott from Trump supporters after placing a full-page ad in The New York Times urging Americans to attend town halls and engage in civic discourse.

While the "No Kings Day" ad did not mention President Donald Trump by name, its emphasis on values like honoring commitments to allies, defending against dictators, and respecting trading partners was widely interpreted as a critique of Trump's foreign policy and "America First" agenda.

A spokesperson for Walmart told Newsweek: "The advertisements from Christy Walton are in no way connected to or endorsed by Walmart. She does not serve on the board or play any role in decision making at Walmart."

His widow was liberal but most if not all her wealth was given to legitimate charities that made no distinction of left or right political views, in short she was no Bill and Melissa Gates.

The feds figured out the identity of everyone who was within 20 miles of Washington DC on Jan 6 within a couple of weeks. There is no way they can’t track who is funding these riots and bring them to justice. Stop the flow of money and all this garbage stops. Go after whoever is funding and organizing this crap, it’ll stop real quick.

>>why does leftist politics attract so many of these people?

Because it’s the ticket to parties with big name celebrities.

Bingo. Who is to blame if a few American’s joining the protestors are evicted from the country, and have to stand in line at the consulate or embassy waiting for the counselor officer or CIA cover person to vet them for new credentials and a passport to re-enter the US.

You have a very good handle on what’s going on. Its organized and well financed, and solely intended to achieve Leftist political objectives. Its also designed to provoke an incident to exploit.

"Please don't hurt us."

(BTW, this is no different than leftists boycotting and attacking a guy's coffee shop because his wife supports conservative causes.)

I remember listening to that plane crash as it unfolded as clearly as 9/11. Even though he was a RINO.

I agree. That is the key, but DOJ would have to step up and so far that doesn’t seem to be in the cards. The money trail is there, but the political will is not.

The most dangerous place on Earth may be a Walmart parking lot on the first of the month.

Is that when EBT gets replenished?

No Kings Day is financed by billionaires and organized by what Lenin called "bourgeois adventurists".

https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1914/jun/09.htm

The history of Russian Social-Democracy teems with tiny groups, which sprang up for an hour, for several months, with no roots whatever among the masses (and politics without the masses are adventurist politics), and with no serious and stable principles. In a petty-bourgeois country, which is passing through a historical period of bourgeois reconstruction, it is inevitable that a motley assortment of intellectuals should join the workers, and that these intellectuals should attempt to form all kinds of groups, adventurist in character in the sense referred to above.

Problem is no one will actually boycott them. Driving two more blocks to shop somewhere else is too “inconvenient”.

And that is why we are losing this war. It is our own fault for being lazy and complacent.

why does leftist politics attract so many of these people?

It is the natural order of things. It confers the highest degree of moral virtue in the 21st century, far higher than any other pursuit.

imo, this is not a bud light or target moment for walmart.

if there ever was a reason to run from walmart it would have been in the 80’s when they had hildabeast on their board

I buy next to nothing from there as it is.

Most of what times I bought from Wally World, I had a gift card from someone.

Who teaches composition to these clowns? The first sentence, because of its shoddy construction, is saying that the ad was placed by Walmart.
