So this video has recently gone viral again so I'm just gonna leave it here and let you guys talk it over in the comments. I give you, plus-size travelers and their complaints about traveling comfortably:
We're plus-sized travelers — of course we think about if we need a second seat before we book a flight.
We're plus-sized travelers — of course we ask for the seatbelt extender as soon as we board the flight.
We're plus-sized travelers — of course we're expected to pay more, just to travel comfortably.
"Fat acceptance" has turned into its own bizarre Marxist grievance study at this point, where the hegemonic power structures of normal society (like, you know, airplanes and stuff) are actively oppressing the morbidly obese.
Wouldn’t it be fantastic to see three *plus size* people having randomly booked three adjoining seats?
Hope it’s in the middle of the plane.............Else it will fly in circles.................😁
Shucks the airline seats aren’t big enough for anyone, no matter what size.
I think they should sell tickets by the pound.
Maybe flying ain’t for them. Maybe travel by cow-car?
I’m a little teapot, short and stout..............mostly ‘stout’...............😏
On your next trip book Amtrak. There is no middle seat, and seats have more room as you can see. You can recline without problems.
I’ve been to California and back twice last month by coach. It was fun. Best part was I only paid $299. for my USA Rail Pass as it was on sale.

Might do exactly that!...............
I can get away with a 30/30 size, but 32/30 is better and 95% of my pants are that size.
I ride a 2004 Yamaha 650 and a 2003 Suzuki 800. I’d like a bigger bike but my legs aren’t long enough to hold up a big cruiser.............
Spirit Airlines certainly is! Sun Coast as well - I somehow have some travel points on that particular airline. No Thanks.
Ditto for Carnival Cruises - just read about another fight in the dining area.
Wish flying weren’t so miserable these days, it’s the fastest way to get across the country - If I didn’t have family in all four corners of the U.S.- Hawaii too, I’d never fly again.
“Ditto for Carnival Cruises - just read about another fight in the dining area.”
That’s called a “FLOOR SHOW”!.................
Yep. Like they do on helicopter tours - each of us had to get on a scale before we boarded - and then were seated according to our weight.
Planes should have a few rows of extra-wide seats - costing more but maybe not as much as first class - for plus-sized passengers. Heard plenty of horror stories of someone having to sit next to an obese passenger on a long flight and losing 1/2 their paid-for seat due to overflow.
Years ago my wife was at her wits end with the three kids all day. Sitting down to dinner she said “I’ve had it up to here (motioning to her chin) with you kids. Behave yourselves or my head is going to explode!”
My youngest daughter (~6 at the time) quips “Oh - dinner AND a show!”
It was complete silence for a second as I turned towards my wife. Thankfully she burst out laughing.
My mom would have thrown a plate at me........................
They need to book their flights on cargo craft.
I’m not overweight but the seating is uncomfortable because it’s just too narrow.
Even when someone next to me is not overweight it’s cramped.
I remember flying in the sixties and it was very comfortable. They must be able to do that again. Charge more, I guess.
Now that the “riff-raff” can fly, it’s squeeze as many in as possible.
