Have they EVER predicted a season which wasn't "more active than average"??
To: ChicagoConservative27
If you go back to May of 2024, you will see the same headline. AND (there’s more), if you go back to May of 2023, you will see the same headline. AND.......believe it or not, if you go back to May of 2022, you will see the same headline.
You won’t believe what happens next!

If only the Congress had not removed subsidies for “green” energy, we could have ended hurricanes and it would be a perfectly balmy 72 F year round with gentle breezes wafting

Why don’t they predict lower funding for BS?

That seems to be the forecast for decades now.

Once again, El RushBo comes to mind. After Katrina, no major hurry made USA landfall for 13 years.
To: ChicagoConservative27
Sighhhhhh. How did last year’s forecast turn out? Or the year’s before that? Or the year’s before that?

I have a friend who used to be a weather forecaster in the USAF. He told me that some forecasters see storms everywhere. Others, not so much. The most boring place to work is Hawaii. The weather is the same, day in day out...year in, year out.

Never, that I can remember. Even when the 12 years of quiet happened, every year they predicted doom and gloom, but with requests for more money.
