Harvey Weinstein sat down with conservative political commentator Candace Owens for a tell-all interview on-camera from prison, in which the defamed producer maintains his innocence and rebuffs the claims of his Hollywood accusers.
Weinstein opens the interview by claiming he was “wrongfully convicted,” denouncing the fact he was twice found guilty of sexual crimes: First in 2020 of a criminal sexual act in the first degree and third-degree rape, and the second in 2022 of rape. His 2020 conviction was overturned in 2024 because the trial judge allowed testimony based on accusations that were not included in the case, a point Weinstein brings up multiple times, seemingly as evidence to support his innocence. He describes his actions as merely “mistakes” and asserts he has done nothing “illegal.”
“I hurt my family. I hurt my friends. I cheated on my wife. And that was a mistake, you know, a terrible mistake,” Weinstein said. “But I did not commit these crimes. I swear that before God, and the people watching now, and on my family.”
Owens then prompted Weinstein to discuss some of his former accusers, including Gwyneth Paltrow. In 2017, Paltrow claimed Weinstein invited her into his hotel room, put his hands on her and suggested a massage after casting her in the 1996 film “Emma.” The incarcerated Weinstein called the accusation “a complete fabrication.” Though he admitted that he “definitely made a pass..."
Weinstein also addressed Rose McGowan, who came forward in a bombshell New York Times article published in 2017...
“I settled with Rose McGowan,” he said. “I gave her $100,000, you know, to say…just don’t tell my wife, don’t get me in trouble.”
The Owens-Weinstein interview premieres on YouTube on Tuesday...

Candace is a tough woman. I wouldn’t want to be close to that gross swine.
Her 4th Baby! Good for Candace and Husband. She keeps her private life so separate, I don’t know what the kids look like. Well, at least Candace is not making any kind of remark that may be interpreted as Anti-Jewish. I hope she’s done with that.
Harvey has at times looked so bad from his prison, I would never have guessed he would still be alive and speaking on interviews. He won’t ever be able to live as he did before his great Me-Too fall from grace. Poor Charlie Rose lost his career completely. No redemption thus far.
“...defamed producer...”
???
I wonder if he offered her a starring role in his upcoming movie . . .
My head spins Candace Owens the “Antisemite” interviews Harvey Weinstein.
Is she some sort of deep double agent for someone?
Another gig of hers recently the notion that Emmanuel Macron’s wife Brigitte is actually a man.
I see Emmanuel Macron is getting testy with Benjamin Netanyahu right now. He’s threatening sanctions on Israel which I guess Candace Owens would be supporting were Candace that “Antisemite” she is described as.
Harvey Weinstein and Candace Owens is a double bill I would never have booked.
When you see a new woman appear out of nowhere in hollywood you can bet she has been sleeping around. Harvey Weinstein just got caught.
Candace Owens: Tell me how to get a role in hollywood?
Harvey Weinstein: It is easy like actresses like Gweneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lawrence, Salma Hayek, Rose McGowan etc. have done.
They accepted a “small part” to get a role in a movie of mine.
If you accept then I will promote you as “Candy”. You will be the new girl in town.
Wiki:
As early as 1998, Gwyneth Paltrow said on Late Show with David Letterman that Weinstein “will coerce you to do a thing or two”
“Every few years, Harvey picks a new girl as his pet.” In 2012, a character on the TV series 30 Rock said: “I’m not afraid of anyone in show business: I turned down intercourse with Harvey Weinstein on no less than three occasions – out of five.
While announcing the 2013 nominees for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award, Seth MacFarlane joked: “Congratulations, you five ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein.”
In July 2018, after many allegations and criminal charges of sexual misconduct, Greek journalist Taki Theodoracopulos said to The Spectator that his friend Weinstein told him in an interview, “Yes, I did offer them [girls] acting jobs in exchange for sex, but so did and still does everyone.
Yeah, that caught my eye, too.
Technically, "defamation" always implies that it is unjustified - like calling him "slandered producer."
"Disgraced" and/or "infamous" would have been better choices, though I think that I would have simply settled on "convicted felon."
Regards,
You would think with all these women he would be exhausted and the exercise would cause him to lose weight.... 107 women! These are the ones who came forward. I wonder what the real total is?
This has been going on since hollywood was founded. Twelve year-old Shirley Temple was alone with MGM producer Arthur Freed in his office when he exposed himself to her. Her reaction to seeing this was to laugh!
She found out that same day that MGM producer Louis B Mayer had proposition her mother! https://www.instagram.com/damionmatthews/reel/CnJCjEphH66/?hl=en

So pretty much every woman he ever encountered.
I worked many of Weinstein’s shows in the 80’s, when he was a club owner and concert promoter. He was always a conniving, manipulative, greedy, Ahole.
With that said though, I’ve also personally witnessed the lengths some people will go to gain access to celebrities and those with power, as well as to gain favors from them. No doubt in my mind that some on that list had no problem with Weinstein at the time of the incident. In fact, I’d bet some of them are only complaining now because, in hindsight, it didn’t advance their career and/or their dealing with their own guilty conscience.
Pretty sure Julia Roberts belongs on that list too. I’m convinced HW is why the left freaked out so hard about that Trump quote that some women will let you do anything (the “grab them by the pxxxy” quote) if you’re a millionaire. That remark hit way too close to home for them. They all knew darn well they’d let Weinstein do that and more. They yelped out of guilt and shame, not outrage.
I still recall being able to read true journalism, and I’m not that old.
The bias just always jumps out and, frankly, prompts me to stop reading most of the time.
I cannot grasp how it doesn’t jump out for most people and have a similar effect.
Makes Bill Clinton look like a piker he only raped 5 women.
Not defending him at all, but these women slept with him to get a job in showbiz. Only been happening since the first day.
Go check out Darryl F Zanuck. That horndog slept with a starlet every day at 4PM, and other times too. Carol Landis serviced him so much, she was called Zanuck’s whore.
This is the nature of the business IF YOU choose to participate. All this talk of rape came many years later when word got out how they got their career.
Go check out Darryl F Zanuck. That horndog slept with a starlet every day at 4PM, and other times too. Carol Landis serviced him so much, she was called Zanuck’s whore.
I believe the Woltz character in The Godfather was based on him...
“You don’t understand. Johnny Fontane never gets that movie. That part is perfect for him. It’ll make him a big star. I’m gonna run him out of the movies. And let me tell you why. Johnny Fontane ruined one of Woltz International’s most valuable proteges. For three years we had her under contract, singing lessons, dancing lessons, acting lessons. I spent hundreds of thousands of dollars. I was gonna make her a big star. And let me be even more frank, just to show you that I’m not a hard-hearted man, that it’s not all dollars and cents. She was beautiful! She was young, she was innocent. She was the greatest piece of ass I’ve ever had, and I’ve had ‘em all over the world.”
It was and guess who the Senator was based on in Part 2.
The guy who the Las Vegas airport was named after before they renamed it to the Harry Reid Airport.
