FBI Director Kash Patel said Sunday night that a “wave of transparency” is coming to his agency, accusing the FBI of running cover for Hillary Clinton for nearly a decade — but that it’s all finally coming to an end.
Sitting alongside FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino for a Fox News interview on “Sunday Morning Futures,” Patel explained how the Bureau is now heading down a long road toward rebuilding trust with the public after years under the microscope for its activities related to powerful Democratic politicians, theories about J6 involvement, and its infamous investigations into President Donald Trump.
But it was Patel’s discovery of how the FBI participated in manufacturing Crossfire Hurricane, the investigation into Trump’s so-called collusion with Russia, that drove home the point for him that the government was always “weaponized” against Clinton’s enemies.
“You asked in the beginning how the FBI was weaponized,” he said to host Maria Bartiromo. “Well, the FBI hijacked the constitutional responsibility of the Department of Justice and the Attorney General, and James Comey and others specifically decided what cases to prosecute and not prosecute. Don’t believe me? Go to the videotape in the Hillary Clinton investigation.”
“We don’t decide prosecutions, and neither does any agent or intel analyst. We have great partners under Attorney General [Pam] Bondi. We work with them and discuss the matter with them, but the prosecutorial decision is with them,” he said.
In the near future, Patel added, the FBI will be publicly detailing the lengths that former agents went to perpetuate the baseless allegation that President Trump colluded with Russian agents to influence the 2016 election.
“That’s how vindictive and vicious the former leadership structure here was. Not only did they bastardize the FISA process and lie to the American public, they withheld and hid documentation and put it in rooms where people weren’t supposed to look,” Patel said.
“It’s a good thing we’re here now to clean it up, and you’re about to see a wave of transparency… Just give us about a week or two.”
Patel and Bongino’s wide-ranging interview with Fox News centered on reforms taking place at the Bureau as well as their preparations to release the final batch of documents related to the 2019 death of Jeffrey Epstein.
Cutting remarks by Patel were reserved for his own agency, which he accused of “intentionally failing the American public” by orchestrating the “biggest D.C. deception game” ever played.
Under the leadership of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Peter Strzok, trust in the FBI fell to an all-time low, Patel asserted, and it will take years to build that brand back up.
“They said the FBI was the most storied institution for law enforcement, and it was, and it will be again very soon,” Patel declared while also suggesting that former leaders abused taxpayer dollars by hiding evidence from the courts.
“That’s what broke the FBI. And then, when they were caught, they lied about it… and [few media personalities] were brave enough to cover it six, seven, eight years ago, and we’re still talking about it today because Congress is working rigorously with us [and] the Crossfire Hurricane documents are coming fast and hard, and they’re being sent there un-redacted so we can have full accountability.”
“That’s how you restore the trust that was lost to the American public when it comes to the FBI,” Patel said.
“Bongino was being forced to say that.”

Accountability IS THEIR JOB.
The essence of leadership IS accountability. Without that why should anyone in the enterprise have any respect for management?
Being an executive means holding a position of responsibility. You are the captain of the ship and the crew must believe in your integrity and willing to maintain order.
I realize this is politics, but these people are leading agencies that the American people have entrusted to serve them. Maybe you don’t care about integrity, but to many people do and believe that trust cannot be violated without consequences.
I’m seriously wondering if they are buying time right now for the military to be restored so that when the evidence is all compiled and the coup the US has suffered under since 2008 is fully documented for the military, there will be actual American patriots at the helm who will obey the Law of War Manual and extract the hostile belligerents who have taken over the functioning of the legitimate Constitutional government and maintain order until the legitimate government can be reinstated. Or actually in this case because the occupation has been so long, they may have to oversee the installation of a legitimate government, assembled through genuine adherence to the US Constitution.
It just feels like the government is in a holding pattern right now. From what Ed Martin told Tucker Carlson, there is a LOT going on behind the scenes, but at the surface level the people doing the investigating are just saying whatever they have to, to buy time.
I hope it is for the aforementioned reason.

What I’m saying is: In war you sometimes have to use disinformation.
And still nothing will happen. So, my attention span for this has diminished.
Its hard to foresee any positive reform actions coming when Trump keeps letting these two bit judges thwart his agenda on a daily basis. He is too deferential to them despite the fact that they are usurping his proscribed executive authorities. So far he has shied away from picking a hill to fight on. Just saying.
The turning off of the surveillance cameras at just the right time suggest that if it was suicide, it was well-coordinated with people in control of the prison. Which could well be. The CIA that was using the Epstein material - and for whom Epstein was working, according to the judge who gave Epstein a slap on the wrist for that very reason - could well have convinced Epstein he would be better off dead than be left to the justice of the inmate population, and could just as easily convince the guards they would be better off to ignore the planned “suicide”.
But I don’t think it’s time right now for either Patel or Bongino to tell us the whole story. I think they’re buying time. But it doesn’t feel good when you know you’re deliberately being told only half the story.
And we're darn lucky at that!
I was just going to post about the FBI files that were illegally downloaded in the 1990s by Hillary Clinton, who intended to bribe members of Congress with them. That’s about the time John McCain became a good friend of Hillary and closet Democrat.
That would do it for me.

What I suspect - and pray and hope for - is that Trump is letting the country see how the cancerous coup has taken over the whole body - so that the reasons for the military to end this illegal occupation by enemy belligerents within our own government will be obvious to all but those involved in the coup.
When all Constitutional governance has ground to a halt by the lawfare, it would be very hard for anybody to argue that we have not been taken over. And normal people can see that the rule is totally absent when judges refuse to let the executive root out fraud, corruption, and lawlessness.
They are doing this very visibly, and the people - who largely woke up when they saw the “novel legal theories” used to target Trump while Gov Hochul promised investors that it would only ever be used on Trump - can’t unsee what they saw that caused them to vote in Trump even after the Deep State threw everything including lawfare and assassination attempts at him.
Trump is deliberately attempting to do the duties assigned him in the Constitution (that have not even been attempted by anyone since at least 2008), and he’s letting the people see how the cancer has taken over and will not - in its current state - allow the body to carry on normal, healthy activity - much less actually fight off the cancer.
I believe and hope that he is doing this for diagnostic purposes - so that anybody with eyes to see will realize this cancer is terminal unless immediately removed.

Many of those j6 prison guards also need firing. Many were physically abusive to those prisoners.
They should be ineligible for rehire as any type of guard.
I think it’s Divine intervention, just like Trump turning his head at the last moment. I truly think that only God’s intervention can turn this mess around, and when I see signs that He has not abandoned us it gives me hope.
Best thing any of us can do right now is pray. Pray for repentance amongst our people, and pray for protection, guidance, strength, and success for the people who recognize what’s going on and are in a position to do something about it.
