Bon Jovi had to be the most annoying rock band of the 80's, looking back on history.
Up there with Boy George with Culture Club.
Have fun its saturday and flame away.

Bon Jovi had a couple of good songs. Annoying? Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I came of age in the 80’s and really like a lot of music from the decade. Bon Jovi being one of the exceptions.

Lol. Don’t know if they’re in CC range but it might be close. BJ has one song I kinda like. It’s My Life. The rest isn’t for me.

I paid cursory attention to Bon Jovi. Didn’t they do “Wanted Dead or Alive”? I liked that one.
First of all, I thought that Bon Jovi was the name of the lead guy.
Secondly, I thought Bon Jovi was conservative and loved America and freedom. Why was Bon Jovi annoying?

Nope.

While demanding the rich pay more in taxes in a protest, he was asked by a good News Reporter about his “farm” in New Jesey getting a tax exemption.
https://rocknyc.live/farm-aid-springsteen-and-bon-jovi-pay-zero-dollars-in-taxes-on-their-100s-of-acres.html
“In another part of Monmouth County, Bon Jovi has and estate on the Navesink River. Taxes on the mansion and some property add up to $295,68 but his tax bill on an additional 6.85 aces is $104 because he raises honeybees.
A spokesman for Bon Jovi issued a statement saying, “Jon is scrupulous about paying his fair share of taxes. The exemption for raising honey bees existed long before he purchased that land, and he continues to employ a beekeeper and raise honeybees…”
Max Weinberg, E-Street Band drummer, and former band leader on Late Night With Conan O’Brien owns 36 heavily wooded acres near Bon Jovi. Taxes on his home and two acres are $49,068. But the tax bill for the additional 34 acres is $122 because he sells wood.”

He’s despised in NJ. His soup kitchen in Tom’s River is getting tossed because the scumbag opened it in a middle class neighborhood and then started busing in trash from all over. He’s human garbage and looks like a middle aged Karen.

If it's any consolation, guys like these are now well into their 60's, fat and balding. Well, except for David Lee Roth and Robin Zander. They'll always be HAUT in my mind. Forever!

Honestly, I have no idea who Bon Jovi is. I've heard the name of course. I realize he is some kind of celebrity.
For years I would go to the supermarket and see tabloids at the checkout counter with headlines about someone named "Jen". (Seems she was mixed up with someone named "Ben"?). So the headlines would screem Jen and Ben this, Jen and Ben that. After years I kinda figured out "Jen" must be a movie star. Who the guy is, I have no idea.
