“Conagher” … a made-for-TV movie, but arguably the best western ever made.

1 of my favorites was just on tv, tho it’s not one of the greatest of all time....Bogart & Bacall in Dark Passage.
As for greatest, Gone With the Wind has to be near the top.

“Well my two favorites are “Dirty Harry” and “The Wizard of Oz” “

It seems like a discordant strange combination.

I have many among my favorites, but I can only lump them together as such, with nothing as singularly “the best” all by itself - not even a “top ten” ect. Each has its own attributes that I like with none diminishing what I like about the others.

There’s so many different types of movies.

There are comedies, musicals , dramas , science fiction, and others I can’t think of off the top of my head. We all would have favorites within different categories. It can be hard to compare a different movies from different categories to each other

One of my favorites is The Best Years Of Our Lives.

Judgement at Nuremberg

The Best Years of Our Lives

Blazing Saddles

The Blues Brothers

The Blues Brothers is great because it captures the best of musicals, car chases, famous co-stars, and it’s just downright funny.

Casablanca

And any movie that is NOT 2001: A Space Odyssey.
