I always read the labels and do not buy any food from China. Even when I shop for Asian foods I will buy products from other Asian countries in preference to anything from China. Sadly consumer electronics are mostly made in China.

Just eat the apples themselves instead of the juice (unless it’s hard cider, of course).

“…. Grow your own …”

“I do what I can. I used to do more than now. Way too busy.”

Here is something not commonly known. Even in the city you can keep yourself in stock with that Garlic flavor fairly easily. The stems are also just as edible like Onion Stems are. Just two plants potted on a window sill will supply you Garlic stems year round as long as you top them to make sure they don’t go to seed. Be green like Chives but taste like Garlic. And they will produce perpetually as you use it and should keep up with your needs fine year round and they are way way less work and trouble than growing in a Garden.

Someone we knew, a fish lover, said tilapia was ditch fish and was dirty. Haven’t had it since.

We do not buy, if it can be helped, dog products unless they are made in the US. That huge dog poisoning scare a few years ago made us very cautious.

Except they are one of the most pesticide-assaulted foods out there.

Tilapia is garbage fish that can be grown in a sewer, and probably was.

You realize that companies fought any requirement to label origin on many food products.

By importing workers from countries with poor health standards we imported poor food handling here.

Frozen fish? Oh god, my 95 year old mother used to eat that chit. The smell of it was so bad you would gag. 😄

Do you mean to tell me California can't grow enough garlic? Gilroy holds a Garlic Festival!

The oceans have plenty of tilapia. Why do we need to run it through China? Answer: We don't.

Apple juice? North Carolina produces so many apples that many spoil on the shelves when the season's over!

I'm sure the weak minded wokies will see the end of the world in all this and love it.

The apples are grown in China. The juice is made into concentrate to be shipped here.

************ concentrate is sourced from China or other major exporters like Ukraine, Turkey, Argentina, or Chile

China is now the leading producer of garlic. Important to read labels to make sure one is getting California-grown garlic.

100% never use Chinese dog food. Makes me also question any vaccines and medications manufactured in China. No way that was only an outlier.

They hate us and don’t care one twit. They are sending over fentanyl to destroy us.

I say shut it all down. Many of us will live longer.

As in Walmart’s common apple juice is made from concentrate, that comes from China. All grocery stores, the least expensive apple juice (no sugar added) is derived from China.

Probably explains why apple juice is insanely cheap compared to other juices.
