I bet if you look at her last valuations they were all superb and exemplary. She was a lezbo, and politically connected to the White House. DEI it’s finest. She was barely qualified as an army pilot, and had no place to go in that environment. She was just there to get her ticket punch to run for office. Unfortunately the negligence occurred years before this incident. This flight route should have never been approved for training let alone night vision training. To do so was asking for an incident such as this, it was also insane IMHO.

This wasn't a mistake, it was negligence, part of a large program of putting Didn't Earn It (DEI) hires on positions they're not qualified for.

As for putting you in a seat like that, unless they had a quota to put you there, they'd correctly fail you out of pilot training if you couldn't achieve the mindset and skill set to fly properly.

They refused to cut her from the program and she declined to remove herself.

I thought the instruction from the Tower to the helicopter was vague and irresposible ; instead of "go around behind flight 5342" the command should have been "slow airspeed to under 3knots at an elevation of 200 ft " ( some useful instruction not a vague generality relying on an assumption that the pilot has visual contact on flight 5432)

then add to that pilot error interpreting what "go around behind" means
