A lefty Wisconsin jurist is threatening not to hold court following Friday’s arrest of Milwaukee judge for allegedly helping a Mexican illegal migrant evade federal immigration officers.

Monica Isham, a circuit judge Sawyer County, defended Judge Hannah Dugan Saturday, claiming in an email to other state judges that she “has no intention of allowing anyone to be taken out of my courtroom by [Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents] and sent to a concentration camp,” Wisconsin Right Now first reported.

Isham, who in 2023 became the first Native American elected to the county’s circuit court, also threatened to “start raising bail money” for defendants.

“Yesterday, Judge Hannah Dugan of Milwaukee County stood on her Oath in the very building she swore to uphold it and she was arrested and charged with felonies for it,” Isham wrote.

“Enough is enough. I no longer feel protected or respected as a Judge in this administration. If there is no guidance for us and no support for us, I will refuse to hold court in Branch 2 in Sawyer County. I will not put myself or my staff who may feel compelled to help me or my community in [harm’s] way.”

“If this cost me my job or it gets me arrested, then at least I know I did the right thing,” she added.

There is no such thing as 100% When dealing with people. There are absolutely some women who would be very competent. There are probably some effeminate men would could pull off motherhood, the thing is, they are rare.

Not as rare as you think.

We have a churchful of women who could go toe to toe with any man in not functioning on emotion or holding conservative political positions.

Almost all of us voted for Trump and do not hesitate to say so.

If you look at states like South Dakota or Wisconsin, the rural counties are Republican, often by 3:1 or better. The one exception consists of counties with reservations or high American Indian populations. Oklahoma is an exception to this rule.

if this judge doesn’t want to take the job seriously and be incur instead of out fundraising for some thing unrelated to their job, they should be fired or whatever remedy to demote or fine them for interfering in the timely court matters on the docket forsaking personal time off for non actual personal matters.

Someone should have “disbarment” proceeding issued. A judge as an officer of the court, should not be telling others not to obey legal orders or the findings of other courts.
