Joe Rogan recently revealed he has decided to make a huge change to his lifestyle by giving up alcohol - a move which follows in the footsteps of Donald Trump.
The president has famously steered clear of booze after witnessing first-hand dangers of alcohol through his brother Fred Jr. who battled with addiction issues.
Rogan appears to have found his own reasons to join Trump as a teetotaler, admitting on a recent episode of his popular podcast The Joe Rogan Experience that he quit drinking month ago due to concerns around its impact on his health.
The UFC host and former Fear Factor star delved into the topic during a recent episode featuring comedian Ron White who opened up about his experience with addiction, revealing that quit drinking four years ago.
White admitted that he didn't know Rogan had given up alcohol, and Rogan replied, 'Yeah, I think I'm done.'
He continued: 'For no reason other than it's not good for you. No, I didn't have to. I enjoyed it.'
White joked that he knew Rogan 'had a good time' with alcohol, and Rogan confessed that the 'days after' a night of drinking was 'just too rough.'
'And I'm like - what kind of a moron who takes such good care of his body is poisoning himself a couple of days a week for fun, ya know, why am I doing that?' he added.
Rogan then laughed and admitted that he 'has the same amount of fun' without alcohol.
White then poked fun at Rogan, noting that 'there's more than one way to skin a cat,' pointing out that they haven't quit every substance.
The two comedians also discussed ayahuasca, a psychoactive substance that can be found in the Amazon which White credits to have helped him abandon the booze.

That’s true. Fasting is most of all a matter of self discipline and becoming self motivated.
I've lived a relatively good long life, thus I am prepared to move on to the next stage. 🙂👍
Yes, I noticed that. They are such jerks.
Sounds like he replaced one poison with another one.
Mr. GG2 and I don’t drink like we used to either. Mostly we will have one drink instead of two or three. We don’t drink everyday anyway.
10 years sober this year. Best decision I ever made.
In the process of a divorce with a hoarder. It is not about the stuff, it is about the heart. In every decision, she chose the stuff.
It is hell to live with someone with an addiction. I am the problem to everyone because I tried to fix the problem. I still remember thinking in the shower, “I am free of the stuff and all the manipulative addictive behavior that came with it.”
I felt like my old self.
You are right, men are making choices, throwing out the evil stuff. In regard to that, we need to be be encourageing and point out you GET RID OF A BAD HABIT BY REPLACING IT WITH A GOOD ONE. Else there is an empty heart the demons come back to with their friends.
Mine came in the form of focusing on my faith. There’s a revival in this country, and I’m proud to be a part of it. We need Christ now more than ever. It’s time for his rebirth in American culture, and it’s happening.
RON WHITE used to tour with JEff Foxworthy/Larry the Cable guy & Bill Engvall.
THEY ARE ‘LAUGHING UNTIL YOU CANNOT STOP CRYING’ FUNNY
I CAN SEE THAT.
RON WHITE IS DELICIOUSLY FUNNY
Why?
It was filthy — sexually and blasphemous. I’m no prude, but you know how you get “that” feeling that a line has been crossed?
When he was on the comedy tour with Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall, he was the the best.
It's jarring, startling, offputting. Who wants any of that in a COMEDY show?
