“In February, Monper reportedly posted: “I have bought several guns and been stocking up on ammo since Trump got in office.” A month later, he added: “Eventually im going to do a mass shooting,” and “I have been buying 1 gun a month since the election, body armor, and ammo.”

The complaint cited specific examples of threats, including one on February 17, 2025, stating: “Nah, we just need to start killing people, Trump, Elon, all the heads of agencies Trump appointed, and anyone who stands in the way… American Revolution 2.0.”

On March 4, he wrote: “I’m going to assassinate him myself,” referring to President Trump during a live-streamed address to Congress. Additional threats targeting ICE agents followed in March and April.

Monper was arrested on April 9 and ordered detained the following day.“
