This just makes my blood really boil. I have family members who gave their lives for this country and this flag. I have not seen the flag of any other country defaced in public in just this way, only America's. Wearing it on your shoes? Who the hell are the makers of these products? And who the hell are these illegal SOB's who break into our country, steal our Social Security benefits, vote in our elections, drive with no insurance, crowd our hospitals and doctors offices and school rooms, criminalize our neighborhoods, with no consequences for their horrific behavior, and then wear our flag on their dirty stinking feet? In most cultures feet are considered unclean to begin with. The two SOB's I saw wearing these this past week in Tampa were both Hispanic, both were sloppy pigs, one a female in a grocery store, the other a male in a doctor's office. And their U.S. flag sneakers were dirty. I have had it. This is deliberately giving Americans the middle finger in public. It's the only way I can see it. It's raw defiance and hatred. I cannot believe this degree of blatant disrespect is unintentional. Yet it is advertised as being "patriotic". What would happen if I walked around with the image of the Cuban or Mexican flag on my shoes? Just how long do you think I'd last?
The Union Jack has been placed on shoes as long as I can remember since the punk era. I think Vans or Chuck Taylors had US flag themed shoes.
would never wear but could see how a well meaning patriot would? like at a 4th of July cookout or something…I thought the greater issue is the lack of America - Americana paraphernalia in general.
“...wearing American flags on their shoes...”

That is not a “flag”.
I guess my USA flag underwear would send you into having a stroke, so I’ll not mention it.
Oops. Just did.
What you wanna bet these USA flag shows were made in China.
Ironic.
What about President Trump’s (sold out) high-top sneakers ?

Same here. I like seeing people incorporate the American Flag in their clothing, on their vehicles, on their homes. As long as it is done in a positive manner and in the appropriate situation. This is certainly nothing new. I want them to be confident enough to show their pride,
Our flag is certainly iconic, but it was not meant to be treated as a religious kind of icon.
Last year I saw a guy wearing just that in a Publix Supermarket. They were undershorts of the brief type and he had beach gear on. Only reason I didn’t call him on his disrespect was he was about six foot eight and about two hundred sixty pounds and not flabby at all. I do reconnaissance first and then pick my battles. It’s why I still have most of my teeth.
And I think you and your cohort are jackasses who are ignorant of the significance of the American flag. You both think fashion choices and what you adorn your stupid bodies with in peace time are so much more controlling than respect for valor under fire. You think it’s fine to walk on the flag and step on it, both of which you are doing when the flag is turned into a shoe by some hippie business owners for idiots like the two of you to purchase with your trust fund funny money and then to wear at your gated community barbecues. So now the flag is “paraphernalia”? There’s a place for you and your cohort. You won’t need charcoal briquets to have a barbecue there. Trust me on that one.
One thing the American flag represents is freedom of speech.
Make sure you never try to put out a fire with them!
bottoms of feet are dirty, tops of feet are sacred. its ok.
I had shoes like that back in the ‘70s.
Please make it easier to read (text-wall)..
Break it down so we can read it.
I am now imagining Helen Thomas drooling over your American Flag underwear...
Oh, never mind, she was a Turk that hated America.
flag underwear...always flying!
