Where is the media outrage? 16-year-old track and football star Austin Metcalf was brutally stabbed to death Wednesday morning during a championship track meet at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
Metcalf, a junior at Frisco Memorial High School, was attacked in broad daylight — at a school-sanctioned event meant to showcase hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship.
The suspect, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony of rival school Frisco Centennial, is now charged with first-degree murder, according to Fox News.
This horrifying act of violence occurred around 10 a.m. during the University Interscholastic League’s District 11-5A championship meet. Witnesses say the attack was swift and left little time for intervention.
According to the press release:
On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m., Frisco Police and Fire responded to an incident at a track meet in the 6900 block of Stadium Lane. An altercation between two students resulted in one stabbing the other. Despite lifesaving measures by police and fire personnel, including CPR and the administration of blood, the 16-year-old victim died.
The suspect, identified as 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony of Frisco, is in custody and there is no further threat to the public. He has been charged with Murder, a 1st Degree Felony. No bond has been set at this time.
This is an active and ongoing investigation with resources from FPD’s School Resource Division, Patrol Division, and Criminal Investigations Division devoted to it…
The Frisco Police Department grieves with all those affected by this devastating loss and extends its deepest condolences to the victim’s family, students, and staff who are experiencing unimaginable pain. The department is collaborating with the Frisco Independent School District and will continue to provide any support they need during this incredibly difficult time.
Jeff Metcalf stated that his son, Austin Metcalf, was killed after Karmelo Anthony became upset about being told he was in the wrong place, according to NBC News.
Metcalf said his son didn’t know the student who attacked him. Austin’s twin brother, Hunter, was nearby when the confrontation happened—he witnessed the stabbing and desperately tried to stop the bleeding.
“They were twins, identical twins, and his brother was holding on to him, trying to make it stop bleeding, and he died in his brother’s arms,” Metcalf told NBC News.
“I rushed up there and I saw him on the gurney and I could tell — they said he wasn’t breathing. I could see all the blood, and I saw where the wound was, and I was very concerned, so I had to find his brother, and we rushed to the hospital. And we prayed, and it’s God’s plan, I don’t understand it, but they weren’t able to save him. This is murder.”
“I’m not trying to judge, but what kind of parents did this child have? What was he taught? He brought a knife to a track meet and he murdered my son by stabbing him in the heart. The guy was in the wrong place and they asked him to move and he bowed up. This is murder,” Metcalf said.
“You know what, I already forgive this person,” he added. “Already. God takes care of things. God is going to take care of me. God is going to take care of my family.”
Frisco Memorial Principal Brook Fesco informed parents and staff in an emotional email obtained by Fox News that Metcalf had died from his injuries, calling it an “unthinkable tragedy.”
“As a parent, your guidance and support will be important in helping your child process grief. Talking about this together, face-to-face, will give you a chance to discuss how your family understands and copes with loss. You may also want to discuss with your child how to be a supportive friend to classmates,” Fesco wrote.
“This loss might remind your student of past losses as well. The most important thing you can do is provide your child a chance to be heard and to express their feelings.”

ymmv.
A simple observation. Anyone carrying a weapon to a sports event is someone planning to use that weapon. This is correctly a first-degree murder.
Perp brought a weapon to school. I oppose these laws on principle, but, they’re the law just about everywhere. That plus first degree murder, and he’s 17, might get him charged as an adult. So, death penalty, given that this is Texas?
No DP under the age of 18...............
The reason for the lack of media outrage is obvious once you look at the pictures of the killer and of the victim.
One more Whitey sacrificed to a savage’s lack of a conscience or moral values.
Race hate is the worst kind of hate.
So now we need how many divisions? Male, Female, Tranny, Sub-Human. Sounds like trophy making will be a profitable career.
America’s greatest mistake..................
I think it goes back to Johnson's War on Poverty that pays welfare recipients more when the father is not present. 72% of black children are raised in a home with no father present. How about doing it this way: Benefits are reduced by 20% if the father is not present. I think this would be enough money loss for the mother to hold the father responsible and in the home, or at least make the father realize the cost of screwing around.
BTW, this is not racist. Talking about the facts surrounding a problem is not racist. It's simply trying to find a solution to a growing problem.
His next seat needs to be the electric chair.
Do they have assigned seating at these high school events?
A sharia-compliant muslim-only city is planned nearby.
“EPIC City is being developed by the East Plano Islamic Center (EPIC). They have acquired over 400 acres in Josephine, Texas, to build this community.”
Black Lives Matter
Tree. Rope. I’ll buy the rope.

The perp should be tried as an adult and given the death penalty.
he was under a tent

“You know what, I already forgive this person,” he added.”
Another person with no clue about Christian forgiveness.
Sad.

I doubt it, since it was a track meet, there was no ‘Home’ and ‘Visitor’ sections.............
Teach your kids to stay away from these animals and when they have no choice teach them to defend themselves. Always be prepared for a young black person to default to violence. It’s how they were raised.
