I somehow don’t like AI. It uses too much energy and it is not as accessible as Personal Computers. It is so energy hungry that it replaces not only human labor but also eats into human living space. From a humanist perspective, it’s not good.

Let's get something straight right out of the gate. AI did not create itself, it was created by humans. Humans create other humans through reproduction. Can humans create AI that develops a higher form of AI, with no further human intervention? But is still comes back to who created the first male human, and then created the first female human, or vice versa, in order for humans to create other humans that now number in the billions?

My vote goes to the Lord regardless how we envision the Lord to be. 🙂👍

Forty-five years ago I had a parishioner opine that my brother’s digital synthesizer (keyboard) was “of the devil” because it could mimic the sound of scores of instruments.
