Miller Gardner, the youngest son of Brett Gardner, died on Friday at the age of 14, the family announced through the Yankees on Sunday.
In a statement from the former Yankees outfielder and his wife Jessica, the Gardners said Miller fell ill “along with several other family members while on vacation.”

Sometimes when someone dies of an overdose or suicide, the newspaper will print "after a short illness".

But they don’t say that in conjunction with several other members getting sick at the same time.
I’m leaning towards food poisoning.

Only 14 years old... This is heartbreaking. So sorry for Miller and his family...
