I don’t have a problem with that. They can hand over minerals and their power plants. And immediately have anew election to get rid of jerk wad
This is silly
Don’t either France or Russia do a good job building these?
here comes the Hill staff with their entry for the Dopiest idea of the Month.
Doesn’t ownership include lability if the plant melted down?
Not only no, but hell NO.
Zelensky, the EO globalists and ZEEPERS worldwide would absolutely love that. It would set the stage for a possible FALSE FLAG attack on an American occupied Ukrainian nuclear power plant and draw America into the globalists’ Ukraine war.
Please no. Those plants are really old, poor designs and in really bad shape. A money sink.
Is the Hill stupid enough to believe this?
no one else is.Tell grifter Z-ski to handover the keys and his balls too...hahaha
Good on Trump for making every effort, but ultimately it’s up to the Russians and the Ukrainians to agree to a cease fire. It takes two to stop fighting, only one to keep the fight going.
I do not like this idea at all. Nuclear power plants are subject to sabotage and the “fallout” from that would be placed on us, financial and otherwise. Very bad idea IMHO.
At this point let Europe take over and spend their own blood and money on it. None of the major players seem to want peace and it is THEIR backyard. Not our problem. Tired of being the world’s policeman and scape goat.
I hear the pitter patter of WW3. I hope they can confine it to Eurasia.
Instead of getting us out of Ukraine, he’s getting us in deeper.
Thinking outside the box. That’s why we love our POTUS.
He has the weight of the world on his shoulders.
God bless President Trump.
I don’t think I can support this if it’s an accurate stating of what Trump has in mind. I might go for temporarily running the plants until the situation is more stable.
If Ukraine is unwilling or unable to run their nuclear reactors, can't have them or they can't be a country.
“American ownership of those plants would be the best protection for that infrastructure and support for Ukrainian energy infrastructure,”
Stupid idea. Then Ukraine could blow one up to get the US to respond against Russia.
The RBMKs (Chernobyl type) are a disaster waiting to happen. The VVER pressurized water reactors (copied from an early Westinghouse design) are better, but still they are Russian made and quality and safety in Russia always takes a back seat to political expedience. I don't want another Chernobyl on our watch. Close them down and replace them with US designs with recognized, experienced builders, ran by US trained crews and US or EU regulatory oversight.
Trump is a brilliant man. He get most things right. But when he is wrong than he can be so wrong.
How about America concerns itself with building and maintaining here Mr. President?
