The truth about antisemitism is hard for Jews to accept
Israel National News ^ | March 7, 2025 | Rabbi YY Jacobson

Posted on 03/16/2025 9:02:38 AM PDT by Twotone

Hatred of the Jew has been universal, permanent, and deep.[1] Death for the Jews has been desired and plotted by the tyrants of every age. Pharaoh, Sancheriv, Nebuchadnezzar, Antiochus, the Roman Caesars, the Turks, the Christians, the Muslims, Stalin, Hitler, and almost every great power that ever lived and flourished, defined the Jew as a target for abuse or complete annihilation.

Jews have been expelled from nearly every country in which they resided—England, France, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Italy, Greece, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, Bohemia, Moravia, Russia, Poland and the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, and of course, from their ancient homeland, Eretz Israel. It is estimated that every 22 years Jews have been exiled from another country.

Throughout the centuries, many millions of Jews were murdered, including millions of infants and children. The Babylonians and Romans killed three million Jews. The Christians and the Muslims in their Crusades, inquisitions, conversion decrees, blood libels, and general religious fervor over a span of 15 centuries slaughtered millions of Jews, often wiping out entire communities. Chmelnitzky and his bandits beheaded 300,000 Polish Jews during 1648-49, while Hitler put to death a third of our people, including one-and-a-half million children. In nearly every country, Jews have, at some time, been subjected to beatings, torture, and murder solely because they were Jewish.

And though many of us thought that the evil of antisemitism perished in a post-Auschwitz world, we have been rudely awakened during the last few years as it once again rears its ugly face, particularly among Arab nations and in Europe.

Then came October 7th, 2024. 1200 Jews were murdered brutally, Jewish children burned alive, Jewish women were tied down, raped, and beheaded during the horrific massacre, and so many people here in America celebrated...

There are almost no Jews who are against Christian believers. A very small handful of what are widely seen as nut jobs do some crazy antics, yes.
All believing Jewish people respect good Christians even as they do not agree with with some Christian doctrines. Further, Judaism teaches that all good moral people including Christians will, to use the Christian wording, “go to Heaven”

Best regards

With all that OUR gov’t has been up to, the Israelis may have had good reason to go after the Liberty. Or it could’ve been an error. Or it could’ve been deliberate malice. We’ll never know. But one wrong doesn’t make any other wrong right.

Hamas has been attacking Israel for years, in small ways & large. The situation is now intolerable. As another poster pointed out, they use their own people as human shields. When fighting a ruthless opponent you must be ruthless also. Too bad if innocents suffer in this war, but there aren’t that many innocents in Gaza.

As for the apparent stand-down on Oct 7? It’s been pretty well established that the head of the IDF a) hated Netanyahu; b) had been informed of suspicious goings on in Gaza; c) failed to inform Netanyahu of those the activity; & d) did not prepare his people for the possibility of an attack. He holds the responsibility for what happened. It was, after all, a Jewish holiday. Which again shows the evil of Hamas as they pick such days to conduct their operations.

But of the rest are listed. All except for Ephraim and Dan.

Lots and lots of debate about that.

Danites were said to be rabid in idolatry.

But, why list one of Joesephs sons but not the other. I cant go with the Levite explaination as the Levites are listed.

Interesting.

Might it be, like some have theories on that the Danites became what we know as modern day europeans? Vikings?
And that Ephraim is the USA?
So niether is included?

You ever figure that out lemme know.

no, you are a fool...the Israelis are not committing genocide in Gaza, but Hamas is putting out propaganda to this effect. They hide munitions in civilian areas, and when Israel bombs the munitions and rockets, civilians are killed, so the usual idiots put out photos, often of children, claiming Israel deliberately was killing children. Hamas ran hospitals and had soldiers stationed there, so when Israel raided and arrested Hamas, they claimed they were attacking innocent patients and physicians who were actually Hamas members.

Hamas could have stopped the war in the first week by releasing the hostages, allowing the UN to inspect and remove the rockets, and arresting those behind the attacks. But no, they prefer propaganda and playing the victim.

The Israelis would simply like to get on with their lives without the risk of being massacred by Arabs or the Iranians at every turn.

Israel was established in 1947: How many times has it been attacked?

The root cause of violence in the Middle East is Muslim primitivism: the complete lack of development of any mediating institutions setting limits on political authority and the inability to separate political legitimacy from Islam. Every political grievance gets turned into a competition of "who is more Muslim," leading to a spiral of radicalization.

Ephraim was Joseph's son, so there's only one of Jacobs's sons (Israel's tribes) missing - Dan.

Danites were said to be rabid in idolatry.

That is probably the reason but I don't have more insight into that yet. I'm reading through the Old Testament and I expect at some point I'll have more understanding about what happened to Dan.

“the smear ‘anti-semite’ is applied to anyone who has any disagreement with the Israeli government”

This is what I was looking at. It’s very well stated. Most of all, it’s true.

Committing genocide in an Arab neighborhood against Arabs when you have zero friends in the neighborhood is a bad way to seek peace.

No, you are a genocide denier. Indiscriminate bombings intended to kill all or drive everyone it is genocide. The fact you are willing to lie does not make your lie true.

It is true only to a limited degree. Criticizing self defense or military actions to eliminate enemy terrorists and their weapons supplies are antisemitic statements —
Criticisms of social welfare policies or failure allow construction of needed houding— is not antisemitic criticism. And I’m sure there are more legitimate areas of criticism since usrstl has a judiciary which is at least as out of control as USA’s is. Israel’s parliamentary system is also fractious and ineffectual at times. And where was. IDF when the Fakestinian terrorists attacked and murdered 1200 people on 07 Oct ?
Critics have plenty to criticize in Jerusalem these days without them spreading lies or slanders , imho.

Yours ,

I see the connection; you are one of Massie’s team. The hatred of Israel runs deep because the soul has been corrupted, just like it was with Haman and all the other enemies of Israel throughout history.

“and so many people here in America celebrated...”

If he does not call out Muslims, or some leftist Americans, he is missing the boat (ocean liner).
