They hide munitions in civilian areas, and when Israel bombs the munitions and rockets, civilians are killed, so the usual idiots put out photos, often of children, claiming Israel deliberately was killing children. Hamas ran hospitals and had soldiers stationed there, so when Israel raided and arrested Hamas, they claimed they were attacking innocent patients and physicians who were actually Hamas members.

Hamas could have stopped the war in the first week by releasing the hostages, allowing the UN to inspect and remove the rockets, and arresting those behind the attacks. But no, they prefer propaganda and playing the victim.
