‘Bunch Of Losers’: Dems’ Emerging 2028 Field May Not Bode Well For Liberals
Daily Caller ^ | 3/15/25 | Nick Pope

Posted on 03/15/2025 11:02:22 AM PDT by Libloather

Political strategists are not yet sold that Democrats rumored to be prospective 2028 presidential candidates have all that it takes to unite the party and retake the White House.

Failed 2024 candidates Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, former Obama White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel, former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and a handful of Democrat governors — Gavin Newsom of California, Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, Andy Beshear of Kentucky and Wes Moore of Maryland — are all thought to be potentially sizing up runs for the White House in 2028 as Democrats try to fight their way out of the political wilderness. Even though there is still plenty of road to go before the campaign kicks off, the prospective candidates could find it quite difficult to unite the party and appeal to enough of America to win back the presidency, pundits told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

“We are in what has been referred to as the ‘invisible primary’ phase of the election cycle, because it is so early and the public isn’t paying attention to these early machinations,” Len Foxwell, a Maryland-based Democratic strategist, told the DCNF. “The only ones who are participating in the process at this point are the prospective candidates themselves and a relatively small and insular ecosystem of donors and party activists and elected officials who do this sort of thing, either as a passion or as a profession. It’s a very small and limited process right now, but it’s definitely happening.”

What a shame. Maybe Pelosi or Chuckles will be available.

A bunch of very old, very rich, very good liars faces a ruthless crop of hungry young Turks. All any of them have to offer is blue pill lies laced with Fentanyl.

Meanwhile, the Citizens have been seriously Red Pilled. We want to get tired of being red pilled but, they’re so darn habit forming and nontoxic.

Even if I wanted to help, I just can’t picture any sort of candidate that would benefit them. The Democrats still seem to be focused on the Culture Wars, still seem to want to hurt the country economically, still want to get involved in foreign wars. The American people want none of that. But some campus radicals think it’s all swell, and the Party Leadership seems to agree. I just don’t see them winning anything in the near future.

Josh Shapiro (Gov-PA) is the best pre-election candidate.

Gavin Newsom will pretend to be a center-left moderate, like Bill Clinton in 1992.

Shapiro is the only one to be worried about and CA would never approve of him.

Safe and effective.

Democrats have not done well with Governors running for President. Carter, Clinton, that’s it in recent memory and one was horrible. They seem to prefer Senators, probably because they’re already well entrenched with the deep state.

Democrats are trying like crazy to fight their way out of the political wilderness.

the party and appeal to enough of America to win back the presidency.

The Democrats will simply resort to violence and terrorism as they always do after losing a civil war or an election.

Many key Democrat donors got rich on USAID and other .gov gravy trains.

They are going to have to tighten their belts now.

That makes it more likely that a relative unknown could be competitive.

Walz/Hogg is the obvious choice. Has a nice ring to it and it would be hilarious.

Disagree some. Senators are the orators as well as rock throwers. Feelings are what’s important to the women. Carter and BJ were southern democrats. It helped.

Democrats don’t like the joos. I keep telling my joo family that they don’t like us. They prefer mooslems and their western sympathizers that would like to saw their heads off with a rusty butter knife.

If Liberals and Democrats truly want to win as a party again for President they are gonna cut loose the Left.

That is one of the biggest reason they lost last fall.
And Trump.👍🇺🇸

The Democratic Party is controlled by the Progressives who are Coastal Elites.

With the current set up, they are not going to reach 270 electoral votes.

The base is so far-left that a centrist candidate will not be able to gain any traction in the primaries.

But the catch is that you'll end up with a lousy candidate like Kamala Harris in the General Election.
