I read this, hoping it was bourbon...
You could do your own study.
The problem with green tea, for me, is that it causes kidney stones
I used to drink a lot, and after I cut it out (and started taking magnesium) stones mostly went away.
Did you know if you switch from your morning cup of coffee to a cup of green tea you can get a 76% reduction in what little joy you have left in life?
I take in 500-1000mg a day caffeine
Mostly diet Sun drop or Mountain Dew
And Milo’s tea from Alabama
2-300 mg of diet Sun drop to wake up
Burp
Half a La Gloria soberano stogie
And I’m ready for the day at 67
I drink coffee too usually after meals or 2am driving on trips
Apparently, Joe Biden never drank the stuff.
Green tea does have caffeine. I would not drink it at night.

i wonder if the study controlled for about a gazillion other confounding factors, not the least of which is the amount of fish the Japanese eat ...
and personally, i don’t care HOW healthy green tea is supposed to be, because the stuff tastes to me like grass clipping that have been steeped in hot water ...
“I read this, hoping it was bourbon”

“Did you know if you switch from your morning cup of coffee to a cup of green tea you can get a 76% reduction in what little joy you have left in life?”

“Perhaps that’s why green tea is credited as one of the reasons older adults in Ikaria, a Greek island, have little to no dementia.”
Perhaps it is because of their love of red wine and afternoon naps?
Oh that would result in a much bigger drop.....
“2-300 mg of diet Sun drop to wake up”
That is four cans! What time do you finally wake up?
Yeah! I have been drinking green tea for years!
It also agitates GERD/acid reflux, in people who have that problem.
