Columbia University is one of the most prestigious universities in the world, attracting students from over 120 countries. However, with its elite status comes a hefty price tag. In this article, we’ll break down the costs of attending Columbia University for a semester, covering tuition, fees, housing, and other expenses.
Tuition and Fees
The first and most significant expense is tuition and fees. For the 2022-2023 academic year, the cost of tuition for Columbia University is:
Full-time students: $71,832 per year
Part-time students: $4,844 per credit hour

About three months..................😁
My stepson, from Texas, just finished his second and last semester at Columbia. He started there in time for the on-campus protests that forced him to to complete most of his classes online. He has told his advisor that since he’s been there he’s received nowhere near the education he is paying for. He departs with an acute dislike of anything Columbia and NYC.
By the time I graduated with my bachelor’s degree I was paying $34 per credit hour. And I thought that was rather high at the time.

How much is a semester?
Probably about 4 1/2 months.
When I graduated from a prestigious Private university,
It was about $1000 per 5 quarter hours class.
My employer paid my tuition IFF( IF and only IF) I maintained a “B” average. That is called motivation.

Buy Junior a house or business franchise instead.
I went to a different but still famous private university.
The tuition for the 1975-1976 academic year was $3,300.
“Part-time students: $4,844 per credit hour”
My university required 128 credit hours to graduate as I recollect.
When I went to the local branch of our state university it cost $300 a semester. I was able to pay that with my $1.00 per hour McDonald’s job.

When one looks at this, and one hears the absurd squealing from both Harvard and Columbia over the $400 million it will withhold from Columbia (and hopefully, Harvard as well) and you look at their incredibly large endowments, and how they have jacked up the tuitions and fees for gullible parents and students...
Who is paying for all the islamic terror supporting trash? Taxpayers? China? Qatar? Saudi Arabia?
<<...one of the most prestigious universities...>>
Excuse me while I puke. “Prestigious” has become synonymous with “clown show”, “rip-off” and “JOKE.”

I can't find a reference now, but I heard on a Fox program that the $400 million in grants that President Trump nuked was just the tip of a federal iceberg of $$ Columbia received.
Federal Government - More than 5 Billion
Oh, thank you! That ..... FIVE - with a B - was the number I recalled, but didn't dare say it without some back-up.
Shocking, even in a nearly shock-proof world.
And that’s Only One University.
