Infamous ‘cannibal’ serial killer goes on hunger strike after prison guards take his PlayStation

A British serial killer notorious for his eating habits is refusing to chow down after guards at the prison holding him took away his TV and PlayStation.

Robert “Hannibal the Cannibal” Maudsley, 71, is incensed by the loss of his gaming system, his brother, Paul, told The Sun.

He said Maudsley has turned away meals and will not ingest anything until his prized electronics are returned.

Also known as “The Brain Eater,” Maudsley lives alone in a glass cell inside Wakefield prison in West Yorkshire.

He is also miffed guards took his non-fiction books and a music system he had on Feb. 26.

“Bob is held inside a prison within the prison,” Paul Maudsley told The Mirror. “Bob complained and he’s normally polite, but the prison officers accused him of being abusive. When he finally got back in his cell, they had taken everything — his TV, PlayStation, books and radio.

“He’s back to how he was 10 years ago, when he didn’t have anything to stimulate him and he would just sit there and vegetate and was in danger of going mad. He loves playing war games and chess on his PlayStation and he’s always watching old films on TV and reading factual books.”

Maudsley is serving life for four murders between 1974 and 1978.

What a setup for a low level joke.

Infamous ‘cannibal’ serial killer goes on hunger strike.

Inmates near his cell: “Hey, don’t look at us. Stay on the wagon, pal.”

🍽️🔪

In a memoir of one of the early victims’ rights advocates the woman visited prison for the first time after trying to process her husband having been murdered.

Dated details but at that time she said the up to date desk top computers and the rather rare high speed internet* for the prisoners and the fully equipped exercise room were better than she could afford. And she passed laughing prisoners playing basketball and others with, yes, a bigger and better television than she had.

Not that many years ago the biggest online spending records were not on the annual “Black Friday” types but the next work day. The explanation: People couldn’t afford the high speed internet plans at home so they did all their shopping the next work day. Times have changed but I’m sure the American workers are not sweating a lot about their efforts to perform their tasks. ZZZZZZZZZZ

I'm no expert, but I do believe he was mad before he ever went to prison.

The prison dentist says he is now willing to do that scheduled dental work that the dentist kept avoiding.

My first impression was this was from the Bee.

It creates the impression he quit eating fellow prisoners once the guards took away his toy.

Here's a video about the guy

Sounds like his life was horrible from the very beginning of his life, and keep getting worse & worse.

Anyway, I certainly do not if it is true, but if it is, it's a shame on so many levels.
