Payton McNabb, the woman seriously injured in high school by a transgender athlete, has been expelled from her college sorority after she spoke out about a male using the women’s bathroom at her school.

McNabb says she received a letter from Delta Zeta, which claims she was ousted from the organization for “bullying” a transgender person by taking video and posting it to her social media when she was confronted by the trans person inside the bathroom at Western Carolina University.

On Friday, McNabb told her followers that she was kicked out of her sorority last year for “stating the simple truth: men don’t belong in women’s bathrooms.”

She added, “Instead of standing by me, they chose to appease a grown man living in a false reality. The organization meant to empower women turned its back on one to protect a lie.”

The notice McNabb posted shows that the sorority accused her of violating its “Moral-Prejudicial Conduct” policies and said her video of the male in the bathroom was “reasonably perceived as being dehumanizing, intimidating, hostile, threatening, or otherwise likely to evoke fear of physical harm or emotional distress.”

What did the university do to deserve to be sued?

WCU created a DEI-friendly environment. Not saying that a lawyer could make a case that WCU is liable, but WCU has actively pursued policies and programs that promote DEI, and that environment contributed to the circumstances surrounding this issue.

From what I recall from my 70's college days, the sorority girls would absolutely LOVE to have a FULLY-INTACT MALE available 24/7 for intercourse (social of course, wink) without having to sneak one into the house and risk trouble. As a "trans-woman", the male is welcome at all hours.

So what if the FULLY-INTACT MALE dresses like a girl? After the clothes come off, it no longer matters what he was wearing.

Unless she is in the middle of a lawsuit, she should post the letter she received on line to identify who signed it and just who were the people who made the decision to expel her and further damage her life. Such people should be identified and discouraged from taking positions that allow them to hurt decent already suffering people.

Clearly she has a case against Delta Zeta, but it does not appear that the school played any role in her being kicked out of her sorority.

Now, the university could kick the Delta Zeta off campus, there have been several cases where schools have kicked greek organizations off campus for hazing, sexual assault or racial incidents.

A couple of years ago my wife and I were attending a conference in Asheville and we went to a restaurant on the main street for lunch. It was my first trip ever to Asheville.

After sitting in the crowded restaurant for a while I noticed that we were the only straight couple there. It puzzled me that the gay pride attire was extreme and so open in North Carolina, where I thought I was in the Bible Belt.

When we finished lunch and walked outside, the entire lower end of the main street was blocked off for a gay pride festival. It looked like San Francisco East.
