The parents of two of the Kansas City Chiefs’ fans, whose lifeless bodies were found frozen in a friend’s backyard, had mixed feelings following the arrests of two men charged with manslaughter on Wednesday.
Ricky Johnson Jr., 38, David Harrington, 37, and Clayton McGeeney, 36, were found dead in their pal Jordan Willis’ backyard on Jan. 9, 2024.
Harrington’s mom, Theresa, claimed she’s been kept out of the loop in the 14 months since the trio’s bodies were discovered.
“They wouldn’t tell me anything,” she told the Daily Mail.

Overweight, doper, sportsball loving couch potatoes. Anyway....
Never make the drugs yourself. Buy them from a qualified expert.
Unfortunately, I can’t see the article, but I can tell you why the investigators don’t share information. Telling anything about what they know will alert the subject and may allow him to escape prosecution by a number of different tactics. Perhaps someone could summarize the case? Why murder? First, second or third degree?
>>>On Wednesday, Platte County prosecutors charged Willis and another man, Ivory Carson, each with three counts of manslaughter and two counts of delivering a controlled substance.<<<
Neither, manslaughter.
Not murder, involuntary homicide.
>>>The trio died from a deadly cocktail of fentanyl and cocaine, Platte County Prosecutor Eric Zahnd revealed during a press conference streamed on KMBC. <<<
DNA samples from the bag of cocaine were mostly from Willis, while Carson’s DNA was found all over the bag of fentanyl, Platte County prosecutor Eric Zahnd said during a press conference Wednesday.
Not that anyone except their families care.
All the pro-drug people on FR will be rushing to defend Willis and the other poisoners murderous butts.
And cry and wail about it being a "victimless crime". Just ignore the dead bodies.
What idiots, when you look at the photo of those corn fed middle age suburbanites with their sports gear you have to wonder how they managed to find their simultaneous deaths in drugs and fentanyl, and their black drug pusher.
Involuntary manslaughter.
Ie., the news went nationally, so someone has to take a fall to allow us to look like we’re doing something.
Without the coverage, it’s just sportsball morons unalive themselves with unintentional drug overdose.
Peer pressure?! At 37 years old. C'mon, man! Also, if you're taking cocaine AND fentanyl at the same time, you might be a drug addict. If not, then you're just not very bright.
The mother is trying to rationalize her son's death, and I do feel some sympathy for her. However, this was a grown man in his 30s. This was not a case where a bunch of teenagers threw a party because somebody's parents went away for the weekend.
If you are involved with killing someone, just like if your robbing a bank. And someone dies. You should do the time.
When you are involved with drugs, this is what can happen.
Laced or two separate bags???
Police recovered two bags of drugs, one containing cocaine, the other fentanyl.
