Whiz kid offered Google job out of high school but got rejected by 16 colleges —now he’s suing for discrimination

Out of the more than two million kids who take the SAT annually, he’s one of roughly 2,000 to score a 1590 or higher.

His high school GPA was a 4.42 on a 4.0 scale. He even had an offer in hand to work a PhD level job at Google before graduating high school.

Stanley, who intended to study computer science, also managed his own startup, e-document signature platform Rabbit-Sign, while still a high schooler.

By anyone’s expectations the Palo Alto, Calif., teen should have been Harvard or MIT bound. And yet Stanley, now 19, was met with disappointment after disappointment in 2023 when college admissions letters started trickling in.

For someone so smart it's pretty strange that he would be so naive about the DemoMarxists running education today. I would just lie and say I'm black. If they question that after meeting him, he should just say he identifies as black and question if they are bias against transracialists.

I hope he is smart enough to realize it was liberals who did this to him and votes appropriately going forward.

He’s only 19 and got himself a software engineering job at Google paying him six figures. He should be thanking these colleges for rejecting him. He’s set for life and he doesn’t need their worthless diplomas.

C’mon Stanley, you know the game - just put on your application that you were in the school LGBTQ Allies club for 3 years.

A number of Asians in America need to stop pretending they have much at all in common with certain other groups.

They are not oppressed, they are doing fantastic in this country...and yet still voted 60 percent for harris.

Down from 68 for biden..but what if dems had put up an actual candidate? Would it have been much less than what biden received?

WAKE UP guys...cut the self pitying “we’re an oppressed group too” crap because you’re rocking it in this country and you’re better than that.

So prove it.

We don’t have to play the game by their rules anymore. In six weeks, Trump has proclaimed liberty throughout all the land, unto all the inhabitants thereof. This is our jubilee, and Satan is being felled by one little word.

6 figures in Ca. doesn’t mean much, because the cost of living is so high. Now if it is in the upper scale of the 6 figure bracket, it might be decent pay.

Hopefully, he’s smart enough to realize his money will go further in another state and leaves.

The 6 figure pay is entry level. Hey, and using AI, which the young man can breeze through is incredible. Shame on 16 colleges rejecting him.

No doubt Mr. Zhong is very intelligent - but these stories always miss some information.

In this case, this young man received a letter from Google when he was underage and then a job offer from Google after high school.

But, his father is a software engineer manager for Google, so the universities probably shrugged off the letter and job offer.

Plus, the letter he received from Google is a common one sent to underage kids who apply to major corporations. I know of another kid who received a similar letter, and he got the IT job after high school, too.

This educational consultant breaks down the numbers and possible reasons Mr. Zhong was rejected: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwhrYzS3rhA

CSC programs are very competitive at those schools. The top students from everywhere apply to them.

We personally knew kids with perfect and near-perfect SAT scores who were rejected by the most competitive colleges. They all found happiness at state colleges, and they didn’t file lawsuits.

Mr. Zhong was accepted by two of the colleges he applied to. Why didn’t he go to the ones that accepted him?

Stanley should take a job with Musk’s DOGE and be specifically assigned to evaluate Federal funding of these institutions that systemically violate the law. Soon there would be some serious howling being heard.

My younger son also attended Gunn High School in Palo Alto. He achieved 1590 on the SAT at age 11. Later, at age 14, he won the Stanford University programming competition for students aged 13 to 18 in the western US. He was rejected from all the top universities he applied to during his last year at Gunn. He was not a happy camper, but eventually got a job, then a girl friend, and now he makes 350K plus bonus in Southern California at age 23, and runs rings around all his co-workers at least in terms of programming. The beauty of the United States is that there are multiple ways to succeed. Suing the universities when rejected by them is not needed, it is their loss and probably your gain if you have serious talents. He is mixed White and Asian, and he is a strong Trump supporter, and tells me that many of his male friends are as well, albeit somewhat silently.

He’s from California, so it’s easy for the admissions offices to check his parents’ party affiliation from voter registration.

Well said! It's exactly the way I look at the issue.

And I love the story of your son's success. (A 1590 at age 11? $350K at age 23? Wow!)

Just what I was thinking. I don’t understand why he would be so eager to pay tuition through the nose and put up with leftist indoctrination. I doubt they would offer him a scholarship and they are bias as it gets. I was looking at the tuition of Columbia university the other day...They want $71,000 a year now. They are absolutely INSANE!!! $71,000 and you have to put up with pro-Hamas Nazis on campus.

60% voted for Junkie Jezebel and 68% for Braindead Biden?? Oh to hell with them, seriously. Like blacks they are supporting the very people they claim are oppressing them.
