Flynn has been burned so hard and his family so impacted that he is broken. I do not hold it against him.
He likely feels like a man abandoned by his country, which is hard for a person how dedicated so much of his life in real service.
Sentences to be served at Gitmo, or Leavenworth. No tennis prison.
From where he sits, that makes sense.
Sadly, what he experienced is “business as usual” in DC.
It’s a cespool, a cabal, it is by its very nature a corrupt world where corporations, special interest groups, even foreign governments buy influence. What do you think a lobbyist does?

General Flynn really needs to be on Trump’s team. Maybe we can put him in charge of putting heads on pikes and lining Pennsylvania Avenue with them.
What the FBI did to Flynn was unconscionable. Several people need to go to jail, including James Comey. Comey really screwed up. If he hadn’t made that idiotic press conference non-exonerating but overlooking Hilary’s misdeeds she may well have won, and he would be off the hook. Once she lost he had to cover his butt with the Russia hoax to cover up the honeypot scandal on the horizon.
I always thought he would bring him in in the second half, if a Republican majority is maintained in the House. (probably wouldn’t be impeached again).
I found that clip disturbing and anger-inducing in ways I find difficult to describe.
And he thought it was wonderful. He laughed and grinned at what was done. And the bovine Leftist audience cheered.
He felt so smug and confident, speaking openly about setting up a man for political purposes, that I simply cannot speak aloud what I think should happen to him.

Technicality: Death penalty for treason is only issued in time of (declared) war and only if the act was done to benefit the enemy.
But it’s a technicality so...

A long string of probably, with a charge that has a very high hurdle of proof to overcome. Read what the constitution says about treason.
We have had assassinations and attempted assassinations in this nation before. None of those perps was charged with treason.
The deep state actors have committed myriad crimes. All are punishable by a dedicated AG with a lower standard of evidence than treason. Throw the book at them all, but with charges we can prove.

Stop with to condescension I have read it many times. I know the hurdles. It is offensive that weak character would remove the use of treason as a charge.
If the crime was committed it must be held to account and given how much this country has sold out it absolutely has been committed. Time to find some moral courage and hold such people accountable.
No one has advocated for the removal of due process, why do some advocate for the idea no one should ever be held accountable for treasonous behavior
