Progressives are struggling with recruitment, morale and fundraising as they seek a path forward heading into next year’s midterm elections.
While some on the left, such as Justice Democrats, have called for primary challenges to moderate Democrats in 2026, many progressives acknowledge the hurdles and lack of attention they face. Despite a couple of names floated, such as former Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.), who is believed to be considering another House bid, liberals are more disorganized about their potential challenger roster. They’re also contending with waning donor enthusiasm.
All together, these predicaments paint a picture of a left wing in trouble, with little idea of how to repair itself after a damaging year.
“I don’t think there’s a single human, including myself, that honestly knows what to do next,” said a longtime Democratic strategist who’s worked on progressive campaigns. “Do I want to do this anymore? How strategic can I really be?”
“If I’m any bit intelligent in those rooms, I’m saying: I don’t f‑‑‑ing know,” the strategist said.
The bewilderment Democrats face is not confined to the left. Many moderates admit publicly and privately that they aren’t sure how to reinvigorate their brand after losing to President Trump and in key races for control of Congress.

The progressive movenent which followed Alinsky (Rules for Radicals) and promoted a Cloward -Priven strategy of reorganizing society, was initiated by Obama( Hope 'n Change). It has failed because America did not want it. Biden was propped up by Obama and his team of Alinsky revolutionaries and they organized a cheated election of a geriatric old man , using Covid as a cover.This was Obama's 3rd term, and they nearly destroyed America.
Damned Right the Dems are in disarray. Many of them are criminals guilty of treason, espionage and sedition. DOGE is discovering their handiwork. But the most egregious record of the Democrat Party is that they were all on board to destroy America, following what only can historically be called fascist ideology. Lies are the mechanical aspect, the feet of the beast. But the race based national socialism of Obama and his followers? That was pure fascism, the brain of the beast.We were undergoing a neo-fascist “ revlooshun” until Trump stopped it in its tracks.

What all that sums up to is the following: Democrats do not know how to respond to their base that now knows that they are liars and hypocrites. All that they know how to do is lie and project, but now that they cant do that, they are utterly confused on what to do/say/feel/argue...any of that. When someone is expecting a lie you cant just give it to them. The dems know this and they are lost.
Oh, and keep touting Kamala Harris as your strongest candidate...I’m sure the voters will love her next time.
Clooney is a big a dumb-ass as John F’ing Kerry (who was in Viet Nam).
I’d love to see him take the lead, along with Dynamite David Hogg. What a winning combination!
