From there, they and their legal-eagle staffs closely monitored Trump’s every rally speech and social media post. And they gave special scrutiny to the radical Project 2025 manifesto that was being assembled by conservative groups, led by the Heritage Foundation. Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, for one, printed out all 900 pages and streaked through them with a highlighter.
With Democrats shut out of power in Washington and midterm elections almost two years away, whatever roadblocks Trump faces in the near term will have to come from the judicial branch. Which is why, since the president’s inauguration, the attorneys general have held daily Zoom calls to assess where and how they should step up. Last week, more than a dozen met in person for several days at a hotel in Hollywood. Between their sessions, which were closed, I spoke to some and asked how the battles are going and what lies ahead.
The Democratic attorneys general are not new to this. They acted collectively — and effectively — during Trump’s chaotic first term. Meanwhile under Obama and Biden the GOP gave token resistance to the idiocy.
Trump forced them to take actual action.
They hated him for it.
And the past month shows exactly how prepared they are!!!
Warrior attorneys must expect to take casualties. So far they’ve managed to game the system such that only their opponents see jail time. Crooked Joe’s pardons were the last gasp of that cozy arrangement. Things have changed since then.
RICO as well.
they better hope that:
1. These AG’s dont need any of the 2 trillion DOGE is cutting off.
2. None of these AG’s have illegally been receiving any of the fraud DOGE has been discovering.
“These Democratic AGs are prepared...”

Someone else has been preparing for this moment for far longer.
By the way, which 22 states is it?
IIRC, Leticia James is worth $16 million and was receiving BIG $$ contributions for her campaign. When they checked donors, they were finding large numbers of contributions from people who seemed to be poor.
So if these earlier reports are correct, the DimWITS have an organized payoff scheme to ALL of the DimWITS PLAYERS. I’m sure Elon already has the details.
I’m guessing the answer to both of those questions is no
Prepared to get their butts kicked repeatedly.
Karen Tumulty is a long time inside the Beltway nattering nabob, mostly with Time. She’s never met a Democrat talking point she won’t swallow.
Seems like RICO charges could be in order for them.
Jonathan Swift certainly summed up these insurrectionist attorneys:
