I had really hoped the silly term "blood moon" had been eliminated. Nope, it was right in the first sentence of the article at the site.

Now I just have to convince people they need to use welding goggles or their leftover solar eclipse glasses to watch it.

The first total lunar eclipse I can remember was when I was around 12. I had just been inducted into the Order of the Arrow, the Boy Scouts honor service fraternity. We had just gotten back from the “ordeal“ camp out, and the eclipse was beginning. I stayed up until two in the morning watching it.

There’s one Hebrew letter in the form of a triangle, the Paleo Hebrew dalet, related to the Greek delta Δ.

Dalet or delta, the letter value is 4.

Meaning: “door”, entrance, gate.

Ergo, a Star of David — the name is spelled dalet vav (”and”) dalet — of 12 triangles of “4” = 48, with the little door left open in the middle.

Now, 4 is not a triangular number, so 48 is a star number that’s not a star number that is a star number because:

48 transcends (eclipses) the normal star number definition not only as explained above, but that 48 = kokav [כוכב] IS the word “star”.

It’s all integrated. 12 Δs united.

Perchance someone should point out that a Star of David is really a Magen (מגן shield) of David, that would be great because magen = 93 = “Ha-Megillah” (the common name for the Book of Esther, as simply “The Scroll”).
