CFPB and the Poison Pill (vanity?)
2/16/25

This morning as I was driving to a client's home listening to the radio a very interesting explanation was being discussed.

Did you know the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was not part of the Congressional Budget?

These darn communists actually had the Fed funding them. Apparently the CFPB is not a line item, but the government has to request a 'draw' for funding from the Federal Reserve Bank? The CFFB is now sitting on $700 million dollars and the Trump administration simply says they don't need this particular draw, so it is $0.00.

When Obama and Warren set this up this way they avoided ALL governmental oversight of the agency.

And the Supreme Court upheld this structure!!

Congress created the CFPB in 2011 to enforce federal consumer financial laws and protect consumers in the financial marketplace. Congress funds most federal agencies through the appropriations process but chose to fund the CFPB through the Federal Reserve to preserve its independence from the political process. The amount of CFPB funding is subject to a statutorily mandated, inflation-based cap.

The CFPB published the Payday Lending Rule in 2017 to protect consumers from predatory lending practices. Specifically, the regulation protects consumers from a lender’s multiple attempts to withdraw funds from their bank accounts, which can lead to additional fees and overdraft charges. Two trade associations representing payday lenders and credit-access businesses challenged the rule, arguing that it is unconstitutional because the CFPB’s funding mechanism is unconstitutional. They argued the bureau’s unique funding structure “usurps Congress’ role in the appropriation of federal funds,” violating the appropriations clause and allowing the executive branch to operate without Congress’ fiscal check on its power.

ONLY the Executive Branch can authorize funding the CFPB.

This just my opinion after speaking with a banker I know and doing some reading about it.
One of the things they do/did was to act as an enforcement branch - they were the ones that mandated no proof of citizenship and very little collateral loans to
migrants - same for minorities.
This of course is no problem for the banks - they just allocate the losses on these loans to higher interest loan rates for those of us who pay our bills.
I can’t wait for these people to be shut down.

Because we do not want to believe that our nation has been captured by criminals.

Because it is much easier to digest it as just being utter incompetence , that is fixed at the ballot box. We also thought it was voter stupidity when nothing was ever fixed at the ballot box.

It wasn't until Donald John Trump was magically elected, that we began to see that something evil was in play here. Was the 2020 election theft allowed to occur in order that people would pay more attention as to what really is happening in this nation?

It seems that may have indeed been the plan all along. If people had remained asleep then the people would have balked at Trump doing what was necessary to even try & destroy the Leviathan in charge.

While a good many people were awakened to the reality, some still do not understand what is happening.. But with government waste being exposed, more & more are awakening as well. The support for Donald John Trump is expanding while the Democrats are left trying to defend the graft & corruption being operated through agencies such as USAID & CFPB.

How many more will be exposed?

Grab the 🍿!!!
