I come from a very broken home, mu mother had like 4 marriages and God only knows what she did outside marriage.
I spent a lot of time, a whole two weeks before deciding to marry a woman and raise a daughter who was the spawn of another man.

I’m not, which is why I say such a woman is not relationship material to me. However, I have an eternal kind spirit that allows me to do acts of kindness without being engaged with them.
This is funny. Selena Gomez basically disses her current boyfriend, because he’s not alpha material but had to wait for her options to dwindle to the point that he became an option.
I used to do this. What happens is you find out people are only nice to you because they can use you. If you cease to be useful to them, you find out what they really think about you. Women in particular only deal with men they arent involved with, for what utility you can provide them. Once you stop, they despise you because they cant get anything they want from you. Now I take care of friends and family that value me and actually care about me, my time is valuable and the one thing I can’t ever get back, so if I spend it on people, its people that are important to me.
Actually, the scenario you describe, best woman i have ever, and currently do, love. Guess we are each on our own journey, but I am damn glad i made it about her and I. And talked about everything.
And we all know that it was an immaculate conception and she made a baby all by herself...
A single mother should not be on the market to find a husband.

You’re right that true friendships are reciprocal in nature. If she’s not willing to reciprocate, then it eventually becomes impossible.
I read a really good analogy to this. It is called ‘the coffee cup’.
When you help somebody, you empty your coffee cup a bit. When they return the favour, they fill your coffee cup a bit. If they are draining your cup and never filling, your coffee cup will eventually become dry. So, you have to keep track of the cup to see what is going on.
I had watched the video originally linked here, then read your last post, then went back to the original video and read the associated transcript. It’s like we saw two different videos, and I have no idea what you’re referring to.
Regardless of your own experience, single moms are a horrible deal for men:
You raise another mans kids. Most of the time the woman doesnt want kids with you so that avenue is gone. You do not ever come first, kids first, dog second, you third. You are often just security and utility for the woman. She can still,divorce you and take half your stuff and try to claim child support from you, for kids that aren’t yours.
Some Christian conservative pastors agree with her. They scream at men to "MAN UP!" and "WIFE UP!" these single mothers.
It worked for the Brady Bunch. Add in a live in maid and a butcher and we’ve got a hit tv show
I always think of what Ferris Bueller said:

In modern male female relationships, women do not refill the mans coffee cup. Again though, every male female relationship, women never ever get involved with men unless they benefit somehow, otherwise the man doesn’t exist to them. They wont waste time. Thats why they never fill your coffee cup back up. Modern women just expect men to do things for them becuause they’re women without giving anything back on their part.
