I love the action and wholeheartedly support everything and more, as in, GO GO GO.
But the curious side of me is like, curious as to why EM is going all in for the USA.

He is said to be socially awkward. I feel like he has found a real buddy in President Trump. They both are successful risk-takers who think outside the box. He can financially afford to do this and he has this camaraderie with a peer, of sorts; maybe he is just having the time of his life. Nothing to lose.

Both men have achieved stupendous success in their various business endeavors. Neither of them have to work another day in their lives.
But they are driven just the same.
Now they have an opportunity to be historical figures like Washington, Napoleon, Beethoven, Lincoln, etc.
In this epic battle against the Deep State, both Trump and Musk know that if they fail to take it down, they will be destroyed. Yet if they succeed, they will have literally saved the United States and perhaps the entire world as well. The human race has an opportunity for peace and prosperity beyond imagining and if realized, these two men would have played the pivotal roles.
Musk loves Trump! The President said he thinks Elon sees him as some kind of father figure. But often our motives are complex and many. Someone said don’t wait until you have perfect motives before you act - you may wait a long time. Some fear that with AI and the ability to ‘snoop’ inside the ‘machine’ the temptation to absolute power will be too overwhelming. Yes, it’s a possibility but given the existential debt crisis we face, the corruption of so many in government and industry already and Trump’s seemingly pure love of America and the desire to right the ship of state, I’m willing to take that chance.

The obvious is that he’s getting tens of millions in practical application testing for Grok to improve it further, so it’s not really free even if he’s not getting directly paid.
I think that he understands that if the US goes under into socialism he will lose out. He knows what’s happening in South America, or will happen, can happen in America.
I’ve seen other interviews, like in Australia, where he was surprised that Australians were having to choose between rent and food and heating and tears welled up in his eyes, so I think he has sympathies for the average man when they are oppressed by their governments.
Maybe he knows good vs evil and right vs wrong when he sees it?
It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that.
I believe Mush would qualify as one of the top geniuses this country has produced. Like a technical challenge he probably sees the job he has been tasked with as a chance to once again use his problem solving ability to actually improve his world and he is really good at solving problems.
I suspect this also.
As we age I think we realize that our family is something that we have for a lifetime, Lord willing. But Musk has seen very closely how even that can be stolen from us by a world that doesn’t even make sense. None of it has to make sense; just by sheer brainwashing a whole generation can be stolen. Who even wants to live in a world that doesn’t make sense? When I read the leftist tripe I wonder how those people can even find the will to live, in a world where truth, life, and justice mean nothing, and “science” is a sick joke. I mean, post-Christianity is bad enough but once you get into post-modernism it’s literally insane. Who wants to live in an insane world?
Too many of us are stuck in the uncomfortable position of waiting to see whether the loved ones we’ve watched give in to the insanity can be brought back to reality. If they can have all this information exposed to them and still not “get it”, they’re gone forever. But maybe we can at least get the general society to give up on the post-modern crap that makes life worth than being dead.
My son is a consummate scientist who is also on the autism spectrum. Living in this world that makes no sense would be unbearable torture for him if there were not others who also see it, expose it, and even just make fun of it if there’s nothing else that can be done. But Musk CAN do something about it, and a big part of that desire might just be so that the world can make sense again.
